It’s not an unimportant game, unless he’s injured I don’t see him being rested under any circumstances.

well it is considering they've already qualified...

Not as winners though, which gives a better draw even if there are some tough teams probably going to runner up too.

I don't recall Messi being rested in actual dead rubber games previously, nevermind the one to decided winning the group.

got a bit of a hamstring injury as well.

if he was going, they'd leave him out of the squad.

Where did this "Messi is giong" come from? xD

Obviously pre-match details days before need to be simply looked at.

Anyway...  Much better second half from Barça and now Messi comes on after he agreed to be rested (not without a fight) with Valverde days before.  He had a choice, the game against Leganés or this one and he chose this one.

Iniesta substituted and the Juventus stadium stands to applaud him in unison. Wonderful!

What a save from ter Stegen :x

How many is that this season and maybe that one was the best which is saying something.  He's getting there and it won't be too long before he is.

Andrés Iniesta given a legend's status as he's substituted by the Juventus fans last night.

I just think he's making his admiration for Buffon public.  From one colleague to another...

Dybala was already celebrating.

Dybala's face (and not just his in the Juve team) after that save was one of incredulous and awestruck.
