Wow, 4 very good games on paper. I bet Sky/BT will be pissed off they didn't pick any of these ones.

The start of a difficult run of fixtures for us. Sam knows us well, and his reaction to the Arsenal thrashing was reminiscent of what happened with us after Sunderland thrashed us this time last year. We went on a bit of a run after that starting with a 1-0 victory over Middlesborough. With no pace in our front line it really wouldn't surprise me if we see an Everton reaction from last week with a good performance here.

Stoke City must be confident of a win given Brighton's away form, Watford I expect will be relishing a trip to a chaotic West Ham after their win against Chelsea and given Swansea's revitalised team I wouldn't bet against picking up some form of result against organised Burnley.

Stoke have got this down as a "must win" for good reason.  Brighton might be happy with a score draw. WhoScored predicts 2-0

I was thinking of putting a bet on West Ham for a win, despite Watford's good away record.  WhoScored predicts 2-2

Everton have a good record at home, terrible away.  Palace have injuries, more than par.  (par = 4) WhoScored predicts  2-1

I fancy Swansea to beat Burnley who score more away.   WhoScored predicts  2-1

1-1 draw or comfortable Palace win depending on which Everton turn up. This is the last chance our lot have to convince me it's still worth watching our games for the rest of the season. If we're shite again I'll stop wasting 2 hours on the shithouses every weekend and just watch match of the day if we win.

Not bad from us so far but we need a goal. Our defence is still an accident waiting to happen.

West Ham 1 - 0 Watford. Two goals in two weeks for little pea.

Mangala's off injured. Christian Benteke must be licking his lips.

Sigurdsson and Niasse on target. Pretty cringeworthy from Palace defence losing second balls left right and centre.

It doesn't help that for a split second Martina remembered how to cross a ball.

Everton 3 - 0 Crystal Palace. The best player on the pitch gets the goal he deserves but that was poor once again from Wayne Hennessey. He wouldn't look out of place in the Sunderland team at the moment.

Davies first goal of the season? Scruffy again but don't care, light years ahead of last week's performance.

Swansea City 1 - 0 Burnley. Sung-Yeung Ki with the goal. What a massive win this could be.

West Ham United 2 - 0 Watford - Arnautovic on his return from injury surely seals the win

Takes the gloss off slightly but still a good win. If Swansea hold on against Burnley and Leicester don't win at City we are only 2 points off 7th.

Charlie Adam misses a penalty in the 91st minute for Stoke.

Seems Burnley's position is starting to even out after their lucky run in the first half of the season.

Stoke v Brighton. A bit wired at the end. Highlights should be good. I did not have a stream. Two of Stoke's three chances came in the last few minutes.

Poor first half, good second half up until about 80 minutes when we dropped off understandably. Sigurdsson was good.

Fuck Schneiderlin.

That first half was appalling, the second however was plain sailing. Palace were absolutely shite and are in real trouble if they put in performances like that week in and week out.

The crowd lets themselves down today too, anyone booing Schneiderlin should hang their head in shame.

I wouldn't read too much in to our performance to be honest - just because our injury list is in to double figures. The squads morale must have been somewhat depleted in the last hour to find out that Sakho was no longer playing too.

That said, anybody who complains about Gareth Southgate this summer should be forced to watch that first half because there's no way the alternatives would be any better. That first half was slow, dull and boring. I fancied Everton to win by the odd goal at half time just because they had Tosun and Bolasie on the bench to add pace, whilst we had nobody. We were somewhat unfortunate to go a goal down to a deflected effort, but the lethargic effort contributed to both other goals. Most fans are being critical towards Hennessey but I think he's being used as a scapegoat (again).

The promise for us today was that Sorloth seems to have something about him. He looks the part but he seems to have more movement and technical ability than I expected.  Fans are being critical towards Benteke for his misses but I thought he did well to generate the power he did. It will click for him at some point, he just needs to keep the belief.

A horrible month ahead for us now. Hopefully from mid March we will have our key players fit again when the run in picks up and we can sprint to 35+ points when it matters.
