Haha honestly did, but I guess I need some rest. I read it, and then thought I heard the name, looked him up, realized he scored against his former team, and then replied. Subscriber RandoEFC+ Posted August 29, 2018 Subscriber Share Posted August 29, 2018 Sounds like we've been unconvincing with Holgate and Zouma as our central pairing. As I type, Rotherham have got one back. 2-1 and no clean sheet for us.

roversgirl
Pleased we rested our key players last night (Mulgrew, Evans, Bennett and Lenihan) and gave a few youngsters/fringe players a chance to impress. The first half was pretty poor with lots of stray passes and poor touches but it was to be expected given that team had never played together before. However, in the second half we were completely dominant and great to score a few goals. Travis was excellent in midfield, he looks a really good prospect, and nice to see 6 academy graduates involved last night!

Smiley Culture
Fair play to Rondon there. Very good all round play there and a good finish across the goal. Forest tired here. Newcastle to win it for me.

Administrator Stan Posted August 29, 2018 Administrator Share Posted August 29, 2018 Wow. Fair play Forest. Many teams would have settled for penalties. Newcastle very naive there.

Begin to expect that from Rondon. He's a very talented player that struggled at West Brom due to being surrounded by shite - manager and talent wise. Burning Gold
Twice in two matches Newcastle have scored a late equaliser only to concede again. I know it's only the League Cup, but that's not a good sign.
