Machado Posted October 29, 2018 Posted October 29, 2018 Liverpool really need to win every game if City are going to get away with this kind of performance unpunished.

Panna King Posted October 29, 2018 Posted October 29, 2018 awful game of football! the pitch really summed that game up!
Storts Posted October 29, 2018 Posted October 29, 2018 Ugh interesting game - came away frustrated because I think we did more than enough to take a point but that Lamela miss was a shocker. Strange game from our point of view. It was a lineup bereft of much attacking flair or nous, or players that can pass a football but actually I think it worked as it was intended to. We largely stopped City having much momentum, and their attacking play was pretty subdued apart from when we decided to give the ball away in dangerous areas as we tend to do. The goal was another shocker from one of the most overrated players in the league. England performances have clouded over the fact that he’s just not very good. It’s gutting we’ve gone from having the best full backs in the league a couple of years ago to a couple of very average plodders. Trippier gets caught out in big games so often and Pep targets him every time. It’s no surprise whatsoever and we really need to upgrade on both sides. I thought Sissoko was excellent, and Harry Winks was bloody superb when he came on. He’s our best centre mid by a long way and he should be playing is this sort of game. Kane is really suffering having to play with Moura. He’s constantly in the wrong spaces these days because Moura is playing beyond him. It’s very similar to how he was played for England. Now Alli and Eriksen are back I’m hoping that we end that experiment and Kane can go back up top where he’s at his best. Thought Sanchez and Alderweireld were very good today, and Lamela was good first half, but that miss is unforgivable. A lot was made of the pitch but honestly it’s really been overblown on how it played. A bit bobbly at times but it had very little impact on the game and to be honest it’s no worse than the pitch we played on against Cardiff before the NFL started. Just a classic case of people in this country wanting to make more of a problem out of something than actually exists. Ultimately frustrated to lose; think they were there for the taking and we couldn’t find our touch in the final third. We barely tested Ederson and seemed to continually mess up when we got close to goal. Either with bad touches or poor final ball. Wins all that counts for them but must be said Liverpool were far more impressive when they played us

Tbf American Football is a much, much better game than soccer!

Cicero Posted October 30, 2018 Posted October 30, 2018 No Striker or Midfielder has scored against Man City in the Premier League so far this season.

Our defence have given very few chances away this season so far, spurs had a few last night but that hasn't been the norm ..infact not a single team has scored against us in the 2nd half of a game yet
