Subscriber Mel81x+ Posted November 15, 2018 Subscriber Posted November 15, 2018 Cant see what the fuss is all about. If you take out the last 6 seconds its like any other save the earth promo video. Odd decision.
Administrator Stan Posted November 15, 2018 Administrator Posted November 15, 2018 All political adverts are meant to be banned. The fact this ad picked up traction is because of the environmental effect and affect on animal welfare it is having. Not saying that the ad should have been banned personally, but letter of law states it should be.
nudge Posted November 15, 2018 Posted November 15, 2018 I just realised it's Iceland the supermarket chain; not Iceland the country...
Honey Honey Posted November 15, 2018 Posted November 15, 2018 The mistake Iceland made was doing something about it. Whereas John Lewis and the likes preach about how bad something is but do nothing about it.
Carnivore Chris Posted November 27, 2018 Posted November 27, 2018 One of the best adverts I've seen, it needs to be heard, although will be now anyway. Banned or not, everyone has the internet and will want to see this advert. Probably more so than if the advert wasn't banned in fact.

One of the problems is getting people to know what palm oil is actually in. Reality is it is probably in things you really enjoy eating. I think it is estimated to be in half of supermarket foods.

But you're right, it's in everything. Not just what we eat.
