Dave Posted November 26, 2018 Posted November 26, 2018 Quote Stoke City midfielder Charlie Adam admits he is open to joining Steven Gerrard's revolution at Rangers, nine and a half years after leaving the club. Adam will assess his options in January after seeing his playing time limited under Gary Rowett this season at the bet365 Stadium. The 32-year-old has not played since October 27, when he was subbed after coming on as a substitute in the 1-0 win at Bristol City in the Sky Bet Championship. @Dickie @Rab
ScoRoss Posted January 2, 2019 Posted January 2, 2019 Can't see him being an impact player for Heart or Rangers. Would bring some quality to a hapless Dundee, but whether he would be a complete passenger when defending is another issue that would be a priority for them. Frankly, unless his wages are very significantly strunk, he just would not make sense for many teams.

Subscriber Mel81x+ Posted January 2, 2019 Subscriber Posted January 2, 2019 Charlie Adam is the kind of player who needs way too many variables going for him in a team to be of any use. He came to Liverpool and totally failed in our system and barring the odd game at Stoke where he 'masterclassed' his way to score some screamers he was pretty average in his time in the top flight. I don't think with a wage reduction it would be good for Rangers to even go near him as he's past his prime and wouldn't offer anything to them.
UNORTHODOX Posted January 2, 2019 Posted January 2, 2019 The fact he was a liverpool player still embarrasses me, Dalglish didn't half make some bad panic buys that season
