Administrator Stan Posted December 20, 2018 Administrator Posted December 20, 2018 Last lot of German Bundesliga football until 18th January . Make the most of it! Friday 21st December, 2018 Borussia Dortmund vs Gladbach, 19.30 Saturday 22nd December, 2018 Nurnberg vs Freiburg Bayer Leverkusen vs Hertha Berlin Hannover vs Dusseldorf RB Leipzig vs Werder Bremen Stuttgart vs Schalke Eintracht Frankfurt vs Bayern Munich, 17.30 Sunday 23rd December, 2018 Augsburg vs Wolfsburg Hoffenheim vs Mainz, 17.30
Faithcore Posted December 21, 2018 Posted December 21, 2018 Sancho is such a good player already. Unbelievable.
...Dan Posted December 21, 2018 Posted December 21, 2018 How has VAR not ruled that out? Kramer heads the ball onto his hand and then scores. If it doesn't hit his hand he doesn't keep the ball under control.
Moderator Tommy Posted December 21, 2018 Moderator Posted December 21, 2018 Gladbach were so poor. It was frustrating to watch them.

My mom is a big Mönchengladbach fan, and she always says Hecking isn't the right coach. I've come across a few other Gladbach fans who say the same. Weird.
Moderator Tommy Posted December 22, 2018 Moderator Posted December 22, 2018 Important match in Hannover today. If we don't get at least a point there, the win against Dortmund will have been for nothing. Hopefully we'll manage to show the same courage today as we usually show against the "big teams".

nudge Posted December 22, 2018 Posted December 22, 2018 Fucking RB. What's even worse is that we still can't convert our chances and concede after such stupid individual mistakes like that Kruse's back pass to Pavlenka. Rashica is soooo fast but he just can't score it seems...two 100% chances wasted again. On a positive note, Johannes is finally starting to show his potential. Hope he signs a new contract soon.
Administrator Stan Posted December 22, 2018 Author Administrator Posted December 22, 2018 Bremen come back from 2-0 down . 2-2.
Administrator Stan Posted December 22, 2018 Author Administrator Posted December 22, 2018 Last minute goal for Dusseldorf! @Tommy
nudge Posted December 22, 2018 Posted December 22, 2018 Damn A great match altogether; have to admire Kohfeldt for wanting to win and bringing fourth striker on even after our equaliser Oh well. Last game this year, mid-table; not too shabby. The way we play we should have more points to be fair; but wasted chances and some defensive blunders have cost us a few matches...
nudge Posted December 22, 2018 Posted December 22, 2018 By the way both Jojo Eggestein and Joshua Sargent are class.
nudge Posted December 22, 2018 Posted December 22, 2018 Just now, José said: Joshua has the potential to become a great player. Hopefully Bremen can hold on to him for a few years. Hope so too... He was playing for the reserves until very recently but seems to be making the break into the first squad now and already has two goals to his name! I doubt we'll manage to hold on to him for a long time; maybe 2-3 years at most and I even doubt that...depends if we start qualifying for Europe again then our chances should be a bit better. Very exciting talent at any case.
Moderator Tommy Posted December 22, 2018 Moderator Posted December 22, 2018 What a week. We doubled our points in 7 days, from 9 to 18. 9 points in 3 games within a week. Crazy. The match itself, well, first half both teams played pretty rubbish. In the 2nd half we had it under control but failed to score until Fink got lucky with a blunder from Hannovers keeper. But a deserved win. We even scored a goal earlier in the 2nd half, but the goal line technology said it wasn't in, even though it looked completely over the line on the replays. Can't trust these technologies. 14th place now over the winter break, which is very nice. Hopefully we'll manage to sign a decent striker in the transfer window. Hennings is a hard worker, but that's it. Ducksch doesn't seem to have what it takes for Bundesliga level.
Moderator Tommy Posted December 23, 2018 Moderator Posted December 23, 2018 Bruno Labbadia can't be explained.

They've always been one of my favorites since starting to watch the league. Great history, incredible fan base, and overall just seems like a very likable club.
