God is Haaland Posted January 18, 2019 Posted January 18, 2019 One day after Balerdi received the permission to attend the Southamerican Cup, Toprak and Zagadou got injured again. We're now left with only ONE central defender. Let's hope Weigl and Diallo won't slip, otherwise it will be unlikely that we can beat the RB cunts.
God is Haaland Posted January 18, 2019 Posted January 18, 2019 Btw there's an interesting solution for Dortmund against an intensely pressing team playing 4-4-2 like RB - especially since we've only one CB available - which is to play 3 fullbacks behind a diamond. Preferably the fb with the best playmaking abilities would play in between the other two (Piszczek - Diallo - Hakimi || Piszczek - Hakimi - Diallo). Btw Diallo can play cb as well as cb. Bürki Piszczek - Diallo - Hakimi Weigl Delaney ----------------- Witsel Reus/Götze Sancho - Phillipp/Paco - Pulisic But unfortunately Toprak's injury and Zagadou's set back occured so late that we probably didn't have enough time to practise this formation, especially since we've never used it before.
Administrator Stan Posted January 18, 2019 Administrator Posted January 18, 2019 Leon Goretzka scores the first goal of the weekend for Bayern. 0-1.
Moderator Tommy Posted January 19, 2019 Author Moderator Posted January 19, 2019 Ducksch getting another chance I see.

nudge Posted January 19, 2019 Posted January 19, 2019 Hannover are shambles and completely bereft of any confidence. We really should put this game to bed early enough before they accidentally score a fluke and we again lose points that we should be taking home. We're in total control but it's still only 1-0 in half time...
SchalkeUK Posted January 19, 2019 Posted January 19, 2019 Nice one Marvin! If you are going to score one then a few seconds before the whistle is a brilliant time to do it!
Moderator Tommy Posted January 19, 2019 Author Moderator Posted January 19, 2019 What a first half. Augsburg completely overran us in the first 15-20 minutes, and we seemed a bit overwhelmed by all that. But then we slowly found our way into the match, and gained a bit more confidence. Beautiful attacking move that lead to the goal, and a very nice header from Marvin Ducksch! In case someone wants to see the goal: https://streamja.com/Mv97
SchalkeUK Posted January 19, 2019 Posted January 19, 2019 He did that to thank you for the post about his selection

SchalkeUK Posted January 19, 2019 Posted January 19, 2019 Ah now I get it - don't worry about the first 44 minutes of each half - just get one with the ref thinking about putting the whistle in his mouth! Not sure if it's a great idea, but it works!
Moderator Tommy Posted January 19, 2019 Author Moderator Posted January 19, 2019 What a match. 4th win in a row
nudge Posted January 19, 2019 Posted January 19, 2019 We almost conceded a goal in the last minute of added time... 3 points and nice football but we need to learn to score goals ffs...
Moderator Tommy Posted January 19, 2019 Author Moderator Posted January 19, 2019 Funkel started Ducksch what no one expected. Ducksch scored. Funkel brought Benito Raman from the bench. Raman scored. I love our good ol' Friedhelm

Outstanding performance from Esser tho. We were worth 3-4. He made some very smart saves, and one outrageous one.
