Inverted Posted April 20, 2019 Posted April 20, 2019 Thank fuck Diers off. Literally got nothing about him except being a tank, and not being completely horrendous technically.

Yeah but at the time he broke through being a young strong player, who could at least play a bit from the back, he looked a good prospect. But the league has progressed and he's not really kicked on at all as he's got older.

It's really quite remarkable how easily City fall to bits under pressure when they're otherwise bossing a game. We would of had a handball penalty too so..

Administrator Stan Posted April 20, 2019 Author Administrator Posted April 20, 2019 Bernardo has been brilliant again today. The work rate or this Man City side is commendable too. Pressuring Tottenham high and causing them to make mistakes. Does leave gaps at the back but for the most part it's been quite intense from them.
Inverted Posted April 20, 2019 Posted April 20, 2019 It's a shame that Dier and Gazzaniga have hindered Spurs so much and it's still been close.
The Artful Dodger Posted April 20, 2019 Posted April 20, 2019 Manchester City have certainly had their fair share of decisions but hear barely anything about it.
Administrator Stan Posted April 20, 2019 Author Administrator Posted April 20, 2019 Bad tackle from Fernandinho that. Thought it was quite late.
Inverted Posted April 20, 2019 Posted April 20, 2019 Another enormous chance. Ederson has been unreal at closing down these 4 or 5 one on ones. Really can't believe how easy it's been to rip City apart. Goes to show that their defence is really based on intimidating the opposition into not trying.
Administrator Stan Posted April 20, 2019 Author Administrator Posted April 20, 2019 Good saves by Ederson or poor finishing today from Spurs? Or both?

There have been plenty of times where it’s been shown if you go at them, you can get goals. I think what makes it difficult for more teams to go at their defense is most sides simply will not win the midfield battle against them. Even today with Spurs’ midfield not playing well though they’ve managed to give a go at it, even when just bypassing the midfield and hoofing it up

Administrator Stan Posted April 20, 2019 Author Administrator Posted April 20, 2019 Wonder if Spurs will score late to effectively deny Man City another trophy. Liverpool fans would love that
Inverted Posted April 20, 2019 Posted April 20, 2019 I'm sure Spurs would love to pull a Chelsea on Man City.
Happy Blue Posted April 20, 2019 Posted April 20, 2019 Time to bring Foden off for another defender, shut this game down

Inverted Posted April 20, 2019 Posted April 20, 2019 Enormously Guardiola move to bring Silva on. Could be a season defining decision.
