Someone explain to me what happened please?! Been out all day. Heard there was a lot of palaver...

Last run in Q3 everyone wanted to have a slipstream to get a better time so nobody wanted to go first. This meant everyone left it very late to leave the pits. Hulkenberg went first but at the end of pit exit he "locked up" and went through the run off hoping for Stroll to go past him, but Stroll just slowed up so that he was beside Hulkenberg when he rejoined the track, both of them were slowing down like cunts waiting for the other to go first. The Ferraris looked like they wanted to get through and get on with it but there was no space. Eventually they all seemed to realise they wouldn't make it round in time so got a move on, Sainz and Leclerc were racing each other through the Lesmos, it was stupid, then Leclerc overtook Vettel on the run down to Parabolica. Sainz had escaped from the pack at this point and managed to start his lap with 3 seconds to spare. Leclerc was the only other one who managed to start his lap before the chequered flag, but abandoned quickly because he was already on pole from the first runs and Vettel, Hamilton, Bottas all didn't start their laps in time so it was a done deal. It was all very farcical.

They really should have thrown the book at at least Hulkenberg and Stroll. I know others wanted the whole top 9 to be punished but the Ferrari guys tried to get on with it, the Mercedes, Albon and Ricciardo were stuck at the back of the clusterfuck so couldn't really have done much about it.

You use that word in English as well? What the hell. First time I've seen an Englishman using it. I never knew.

I listened to my English teacher in school.

Happy for Charles albeit in line with some controversy...! Sounded like a decent GP again though regardless. .

Well done Charles, a great drive but also very lucky not to get penalised; especially for moving under braking - considering he already had a black & white flag shown to him. Hamilton gave him a good fight but the dragster Ferrari is just too fast on the straights even without slipstream and DRS. Bottas disappointing; way too many mistakes and once again struggling to overtake even the backmarkers when it matters.

Kudos to Renault for a great result; it's weird how well that car of theirs looks under low downforce. Funny how it struggles with drivability and balance issues on "normal" tracks but comes up to life here.

Not a great weekend for Red Bull. Max was careful at the start but still misjudged how slow the cars ahead him were taking the first turn; still did a good job getting to P8. Ran behind Perez in DRS window for at least 10 laps but still couldn't make a pass unfortunately. Albon a bit too eager at the start of the race; 5 s for that chicane cut and then got unlucky with the VSC as well. Decent pace after that though; got within 1s to Hülkenberg as well but just couldn't overtake him either. Things should be much better in Singapore though.

Giovinazzi with a good race. Sauber screwed up with Kimi there, how didn't they realise that mistake with starting tyres? Really just wasted points for them; both last weekend in Spa and in Monza here today.

Even when Lewis was really close on the main straight, even with DRS he'd always run out of road, Bottas had chance to prove a point today but as usual he shows he just can't cut the mustard.

As a Ferrari fan, Leclerc´s quickly becoming my favorite driver to watch.

Hopefully, Ferrari can build a car good enough for him to fight for the title next year.

If they can gear it more towards last years car they are in with a shout.

Charles Leclerc uncut team radio from Monza.

After 04:00 it gets interesting and you can hear the tension in their voices with the Mercedes closing in. Unreal with how much the drivers have to deal, times, settings etc. F1 is much more than just driving.
