I love maps like this - and I find this one rather fascinating.

Some of these numbers are massively incorrect/outdated. For example, Frankfurt have over 90000 members, Union have almost 37000, many others have 5000-10000 more than it says in the graph.

Where do you look for your numbers?

The membership has always intrigued me with the Bundesliga.

Just kidding - Eintracht Braunschweig will be in 2. Bundesliga so I'm preparing to follow them next year.

Generally speaking, it's hard to tell how many members a club exactly have, cause it's hard to quantify the "Karteileichen"- a German expression for "members", who haven't paid their fee for a while and still are counted, although they might not be interested anymore or even dead.

RB Leipzig have exactly 750 of those.

Just saw this and what the absolute hell is wrong with people. First off, this is obviously a 'foreign' member, and I'm ashamed to say, but this member is probably a Trump Loving American.

Sometimes I thoroughly hate people.

I've been doing research into all of the Bundesliga teams as I want to watch at least 1 home game for each team this year, and I want to follow a Bundesliga team despite my flirtations with Frankfurt and Union in the past, none have really stuck.

I did some reading last night on Freiburg, and must say, this has to be the best looking region in all of top flight European football.

It was a German member, they just translated it for the non-German speakers :)

It wasn't that...but how does a German NOT recognize the cathedral in Koln? Surely that's only American level of stupid?

There's both the the cathedral and the mosque in that skyline.

And the Freiburg stadium is now on my bucket list. As much as I love hiking, trails, and forests, and to see that beauty and the overall beauty of Freiburg...that's on my list for post COVID.

Ahhh...I see, so the member isn't American level of stupid.

I never knew it had that in the skyline, but again, I'm not sure why people care...

Not in the stadium unfortunately, but in the region. Schwarzwald is beautiful.

I started looking into the town and region, absolutely love the vie and the landscape of it all.
