They are awful but they're awful for everyone. You cross the line of reasonable criticism when you stray into the realms of "they're probably out to get us because of Coote" and "they try and help City win the league because they go to UAE to referee games for their second job". There's definitely a bit of a referees union in that they never call out a bad decision of one of their mates on television, and the way the accountability works with VAR definitely sets up some messed up incentives with the way some decisions are made, but to claim they favour or discriminate against certain clubs is just silly.

Savinho I don't know about but you can't teach a player like Doku correct decision making. He either hangs on to the ball too long or over hits a cross or shot. You will always get great games out of him but replacing Mahrez with him was a marked downgrade. As is selling a top class striker and assuming Haaland can go a season with no back up. Literally zero plan B whenever I see you play.

Independent wrestling is so great. The event was delayed by 20 minutes because they couldn't get 400 people in fast enough and they didn't have enough chairs. But that disorganisation gives it its character I think. That and the fact that is doesn't take it self to seriously. Was a great show. Finally saw someone put through a chair close up, finally saw Simon Miller, saw a referee beat a wrestler and get a great reaction. Michael Oku was there aswell. Great night
