  1. Well it's one way to get on the mixed match challenge.
  2. He's come a long way since his ginger days in TNA. I'd be cautious going to WWE if I was anybody at the moment as NXT is stacked. EC3 has got a bit lost in the shuffle up against Ricochet, Undisputed Era etc and it's only getting more competitive with Keith Lee and Matt Riddle. We all know why The Bellas are untouchable.
  3. Only the major pay per views if I'm honest. I imagine that will change closer to the MSG event.
  4. Not sure if this PSV team is class or the rest of the league is dismal.

If it goes tits up at Starbucks would your current employers be willing to take you back?

  7. I agree. The only way I could take the Roman victory over 'Taker is if it was his actual last performance. Seeing him come back now hurts. The obsession with making guys in their prime 20 years ago look immortal has been my pet hate for the last 7/8 years. There's so many talented guys that are not being given the opportunity to express themselves because of it. Thankfully AJ isn't one of them because of the brand split. If you haven't seen HIAC Danny I would just read spoilers and not bother. If All In was a high eight i'd just about justify this being a five.
  8. PSV hit SEVEN! I'm looking forward to seeing how De Jong, Lozano and Bergwijn do against Barcelona on Tuesday. Five in five and they seem to have gelled in to a great team.
  9. Should have taken your daughter and her boyfriend along and you all could have bonded over Christopher Robin.
  10. I gave up after 12 minutes. Absolute travesty.
  11. Disney's Christopher Robin. Think 90% of the cinema was in tears after the first 10-15 minutes but after that it was a light hearted watch like most Disney remakes of classics. 8/10.
  12. Hasn't Vardy since signed another contract?
  13. He looks assured but we are pretty stacked on the left side with Danny Rose, Ryan Bertrand, Luke Shaw, Ashley Young and Ryan Sessegnon. You could discount the last two due to age position preference but he's still have to work very hard to get ahead of the every three over the next couple of seasons. Tom Davies is going under the radar when people talk about future English players. He's only 20 and entering his third full season of football. If he can start regularly for Everton under the brand that Marco Silva encourages I don't think he will remain unnoticed.
  14. I guess if he's not to join Manchester United his agent would have pushed for a much bigger pay rise.
  15. I hope they make the most of it. They're a long way off consideration to the starting eleven given the players ahead of them at the moment, but twelve months is a long time in football.

Exactly. Funny Billie Jean thinks that's a great thing.

Billie Jean King sticking her ore in again regarding the supposed sexism. There will never be such a thing as gender equality because people like her wouldn't settle for equality once they've achieved it.
  18. I loved Kevin Davies. One of my friends that used to support Bolton pointed out from 2004 to 2007 how everything sucesful went through him. He wasnt rubbish. He destroyed Bayern because they didn't know how to cope with his ilk. An absolute legend of his time for Bolton who should have no regrets with how his career panned out. I think my admiration of him stems because he reminds me of Glenn Murray. Literally looks the bloke in the pub that turns up at your local on the weekend that has a couple of beers and stays outside by the smoking area all evening. He shouldn't be a footballer on five figures a week but he is. Legend. Duncan Ferguson however. Nah.
  19. Punks reign was affected by a refusal to have him main event over Super Cena. Brocks reign was affected by the fact he was never there. Tge most impactful reign that comes to mind since WCW folded was Triple H when Raw first started in the early naughties. At a time when we were used to champions lasting 2-4 months he bossed it from about August 2002 until March 2004 apart from a couple of months where HBK and Goldberg held it. He was believable too with Evolution beside him.
  20. For anybody that has ever watched wrestling we are entering in to the most interesting seven month period in history. - Last weekend Cody Rhodes hosted his first pay per view with The Young Bucks and it was a massive sucess. - WWE have tried to block any other wrestling company appearing at Maddison Square Gardens. ROH and NJPW will be hosting a joint pay per view the weekend of WrestleMania! - The WWE have responded, with rumours of Undertaker versus HBK and Roman Reigns versus The Rock. WWE have for years been trying to lower the ceiling on other companies. Whether it's by having NXT appearing in the same city where other companies are having their big shows, or by hoovering up all the UK talent so ITV have nobody, or by taking all the popular indie talent. Vince is not going to be happy about MSG hosting a huge wrestling show the weekend of WrestleMania. In retaliation, the only thing he really can do is produce a WrestleMania that's one for the ages.
