  1. Well that decision wasn't fixed.
  2. I agree with what @Danny has said about Fury. His comments quite frankly disgust me but his mental strength to get in to shape is phenomenal. I just think it's a year too early. Furys style three years ago would be complicated for Joshua, but I have seen nothing as of yet to suggest his ring awareness which complies with ring fitness would be ready for a Champion of the sport. Regardless of his gangly style. Wilder is the guy from day one when Joshua beat Klitschko that people questioned if Joshua can beat. I see Joshua as more of a corporate champion than a people's champion and if ducks Wilder (and arguably Fury) for April after this fight that belief will be strengthened.
  3. Why anybody doesn't want Wilder to win and potentially expose Joshua next year is beyond me.
  4. Been playing this version a lot more than previous versions. If I'm a top five I seem to be able to beat anybody, even if it's Man United against Man City. Arsenal I struggle with because other than Auba and Lacazette they're slow af. Everybody else I'm having a difficult time of getting to grips with and I think that's partly down to the new shooting system. I played as Brighton against Everton with 28 shots and still lost 1-0. One team that I think you can beat others with is Bournemouth. They're quick, tenacious and have about 5 or 6 players that are capable of finishing from inside and outside the area.
  5. So what fans forum do we reckon liquidator gets his posts from?
  6. PSV are still yet to drop a point in the Eredivisie. Ridiculous.
  7. Manchester United are doing a pre season tour of Australia. Then they'll moan about travelling for 2 games in 4 days in November.
  8. That ring attire @SirBalon could use the fashion tips. I can't believe Patrick Clark is one of my favourite wrestlers.
  9. Well they have a million pounds as a parting gift from Chelsea for a new stadium. They purchased a golfing range opposite Chessington South station but they've got players from Billericay of last season and Crystal Palace U23s playing for then this season. So I imagine not all that money has completely gone to it's meant cause.
  10. They're sharing with Corinthian Casuals now. It's a much easier commute from Kingston and one that's been welcomed by fans.
  11. They're above K's who had promotion ambitions at the start of the season.
  12. The Miz is definitely the winner of the brand split followed by Strowman. I'm not sure I see him as the long term guy after Wrestle Mania. That's said, a lot can change in four months. Look at Becky Lynch now. Wow. Regarding the other candidates I only really see Daniel Bryan and AJ Styles as guys capable of holding the World Title on Smackdown. Nakamura has been ruined as a heel, Orton could be a worthy challenger but I don't see him as a title holder, Rey and Jeff would be two steps backwards, whilst Joe has had title opportunities recently. What I would like to see happen with the next brand split is Rollins and Balor come to Smackdown. They're not going to get opportunities on Raw with the emphasis being on larger than life men. Rollins in particular looks ready to carry a brand whilst Balor needs a fresh approach to remind people exactly how good he is.
  13. I thought there initial feud was more of a teaser for a much bigger match down the line at Wrestle Mania that could be hyped as the end of a feud expanding almost nine years (i know that's not factually correct but that's how it will be hyped). So with that in mind I wasn't too overly bothered with how it ended. I'm more bothered at how watered down they made the Styles feuds with Joe and Nakamura. I get the narrative is stale to a degree but the WWE have historically been good at building their Wrestle Mania matches so they have a story telling purpose of their own. Undertaker being undefeated all those years, a Roman / Brock rematch three years later, The Rock Vs. Stone Cold regularly etc. Having the story of the guy that lost in 15 seconds, to winning the title at Wrestle Mania 30 as the most over superstar since the attitude era, to making a come back at Wrestle Mania 35, would culminate that whole story. Plus, once he's achieved that at WM35, people would gradually turn off him like they naturally do and a heel turn would work. The one person who could really gain from this if it's played out well is AJ Styles. If they go for a Miz / Bryan culmination at Royal Rumble that leaves the spot open for him to claim back the title as the super face of the brand at Wrestle Mania. I do agree that it's set up an intriguing scenario at Survivor Series. Would they let Brock destroy a fresh new heel? How the are they going to make Bryan compete about somebody ten times his size? Will AJ or Brawn get involved? How do they spin this where two new champions still keep their momentum?
  14. I was hopeing for the other way round.
  15. I'm not sure if I'm a fan of the changes on Smackdown to be honest.
  16. Ajax hit SEVEN last weekend. The disparity between teams in this league seems ridiculous.
  17. It's 2018 you can't say things like that.
  18. Greatest Showman 8/10. Your standard good Hugh Jackman musical.
  19. As for the Super League, ignoring the fact that Spurs who cant organise their own stadium have been invited which is hilarious, if plans materialise for a super league then the only stance football fans can really take is a boycott. What makes football special is the contribution the fans make. Look how odd the Croatia England felt and how weird it was when Dortmund fans went silent. I imagine the likes of Madrid, Barcelona and Bayern will push for it, but for the Premier League Clubs there's less of a push at the moment as they're making plenty of money in contrast to the rest of Europe. What I think the top six may do is use this as a bargaining tool to get what they want in the future. You can tell they're not happy about how the tv money is proportionally spread, and they could see this as their way to get a much bigger slice of the pie to avoid another Leicester.
  20. Apparently Usain Bolt's demands were too high. It begs the question what on earth did he expect?
