  2. Johnson is flailing cunt, Lib Dems are as useful as dog shit on a shoe and Labour have a leader that will only question something the Tories do once they’re 100% certain the public will be on their side. Literally if you don’t rim Johnson/the Tories what is even the point in voting other than being able to shout iF yOu DoNt VoTe YoU dOnT gEt A sAy

Yeah mate, right next to Isleworth. That’s why you see the odd Bees fan working for Soccer AM Clearly I don’t think both are true

I know right, I think it’s perfect for us. I would like to see some of the gray concrete painted red just to give it more of a Brentford feel, and I feel like at first when you see it it can seem generic, but the more you look at how the stadium is constructed it feels like it has a sort of Scandinavian arena vibe, which is on brand for us, 33% of our starting eleven today were called Mads

Neither had I until I heard about it somewhere, though the people I’ve heard it from are generally black and not Asian. Cut me to the core as I used to drink about 3-4 pints of milk a day lol

Less Asian people and more of a generalised stereotype on white households, that white households smells of milk.

The worst thing about it is they think we smell like milk. At least their houses smell of beautiful food, apparently ours smell of a cows tit.
  8. I think Southgate would have separated the two because of the different positions they play, but on the left hand side we have Sterling, Rashford and Grealish alone. I think it would have been difficult for him to get ahead those 3
  9. I think if we're being honest there are a number of players ahead of Barnes anyway, brilliant player with a lot of potential, but with all the striking and attacking midfield options I'm not sure he makes the squad.
  10. Would be mad to leave this group of players, with the potential for more investment, to go to Spurs. Big step down
  11. In terms of your first 11 who would you like to see come in next season/what position needs strengthening?

    Rugby League

On weekend mornings, probs weekdays too Yeah I never really got into League over here, got into it when I lived in Australia. The quality of the NRL is just something else, State of Origin too, you really can’t find a better quality game of Rugby anywhere, League or Union.
  13. Yes and that is what has created a monopoly for a select group of clubs in the Champions League, it is why in t he last 20 years there have been 9 different winners and in the 20 before that were was 15. Winning silverware shouldn’t guarantee you a shit tonne of money to take into the competition the season after, consistently competing in the Champions League should create a wealth gap in your domestic league, that is how you stifle competition. The current model has literally created the need for a Super League, the current model is the inspiration for the Super League, it is simply one rung below a super league.
  14. To say the current format of the Champions League is fine is to be ignorant as to why the ESL existed in the first place. For the past 16 years the Champions League finalists have all been clubs offered a place in the ESL. For the past 16 years it has not deviated away from those clubs. For clarity and just to pick an easy round number, of the last 20 finals, both finalists in 17 of them have been occupied by clubs who were offered a spot in the ESL. Of the 20 finals prior, only 6 of those finals were contested by two clubs eventually picked for the ESL. Conveniently the beginning of the ESL offered clubs domination in Europe began as TV money started to run football and started to drive the Champions League’s business model. The Champions League as a competition has been shaped so that it continuously benefits the biggest clubs financially, prolonging their dominance in the competition. UEFA and the Champions League competition are not for fair competition, they were just upset that the clubs were going to take the money for themselves. The fact that the new Champions League format’s biggest changes revolve around making more money for the ESL clubs through more games and allowing big clubs who fail to qualify a way back into the competition is indicative of the elitist mentality that UEFA have been encouraging for the past two decades. UEFA aren’t annoyed that the notion of fair competition was eroded by the formation of the ESL, they themselves have continuously encouraged it by financially doping these clubs for years, they’re just upset that their competition is not involved.
  15. So the BBC have an article about potential replacements and one of the names they mentioned was....Diego Simeone? Baffle me, please. Someone tell me why Simeone would leave a much bigger club in Atletico, at the top of La Liga, who are competing against the two biggest sides of the last decade, one of them the biggest side in the world......for Spurs?
  16. Glad to see I was trying to dismantle the wheels
  17. In terms of entertainment value it should be knock out competition all the way, but this format essentially gives the biggest clubs the opportunity to overcome an unexpected loss and still finish half going into the knock out stages. The brilliance of European football is seeing sides like Celtic, Ajax, PSV, Benfica, Porto, Lyon put up real fights and going on to win silverware as well as the richer clubs. These changes will just continue to strengthen the monopoly, centralising the best talents to a small number of clubs, ensuring those clubs receive more money. BTEC Super League and it needs scrapping.
  18. Brendan Rodgers is very close to doing for Leicester what Mourinho was brought in to do for Spurs

    Rugby League

Drama at the end of Souths vs Wests as it looked like Burgess dropped the ball before his try to win it, then West’s returned upfield and scored what they thought was the try to win the game until the video ref awarded it in favour of the Bunnies as Burgess didn’t drop the ball afterall
  20. Football clubs/companies going for engagement is the worst
