Just got off the phone with my boss for a quick catch up before going back to work Saturday and he told me that he had his works physical yesterday.. He was well chuffed with the results, got told he has an age of 35 which is good considering he is 44.. I had mine last year and told him they never gave me mine.. He said well it only goes up to 100 mate... Cheeky fucker...

Watched 'Avengers Infinity War' and 'Jurassic World' last night.. Not sure how many more Jurassic's they can crank out... better that we just all get eaten and be done with it, mild entertainment really, had a restless night so kept me entertained for a while.. 6/10 Didn't think I would be keen on the new Avengers film but was a bit surprised it was better than I expected.. Thanos has thrown some serious shit into the mix.. Josh Brolin has been a real scene stealer in both this and Deadpool 2 8/10

That's part of the problem though isn't it.. Youngsters these days really struggle to get a foothold on property so as you say you try to do them a favour by allowing them to stay home longer to save etc but there comes a point where I need to see some movement happening.. I love my family but everyone needs some breathing space or it all starts to get a bit much after a while.. In my mind I just saw a repeat cycle for my kids of when I was younger... Go out to work, save as much as you can while living at home, take that money and get yourself set up somewhere and let the journey begin... The reality however has turned out to be way off the mark.. Part of the problem for me anyway is that after staying up in Notts for a couple of years I now have a fond appreciation for serenity and the absence of stress Just feel like this a lot of the time... Takes a lot to push my buttons and sometimes you just feel like exploding..

You come across as a very confrontational individual sometimes... You make out as though your knowledge of the club and it's goings on are secret treasure trove only to be opened by you.. If someone should have a alternate opinion to you and god forbid those opinions should be uttered on this football forum where the last time I looked differing opinions were very much welcomed then you seem to start making it personal... If I had a pound for every Chelsea supporter that claimed to be the most knowledgeable and had that 'thou shalt not' be argued with attitude then I would have had a few hundred quid tucked away over the years by now.. Some of your posts are well structured with some decent points and given you have been knocking about for a good few years I am surprised you don't use your experience and just agree to disagree... Really enjoyed Vikings mate... I would recommend it.. It's worth watching just for Katheryn Winnick... Starts of a bit slow in the beginning but builds and builds as each season goes by... Such a great watch

Watched 'Extinction' last night.. Can't really say too much about it without giving most of it away.... Basically a bloke starts having nightmares about the planet being attacked and everyone getting killed... have to watch it yourself to see where it all goes.. Not a bad watch for an hour and a half... 7.5

Latest news knocking about... Gonzalo Higuain is ready to reject AC Milan as he prefers a move to Chelsea, according to reports. The Juventus striker is on Chelsea’s summer shortlist and the two clubs have held talks about a possible transfer before the transfer window closes. Earlier this week, reports in Italy claimed that the Serie A champions would be willing to let Higuain join AC Milan on loan for the upcoming season. But La Stampa report that the 30-year-old is ‘not convinced’ by Milan’s proposal and would prefer to join Chelsea instead as he would like the challenge of playing in the Premier League. The report also claims that the Argentina international is demanding a salary package worth £135,000 a week. Should Higuain end up making the move to Chelsea, he would be reunited with Maurizio Sarri – the manager he thrived under at Napoli. Under Sarri’s guidance at Napoli, Higuain broke Serie A’s scoring record in a single campaign with 36 goals in the 2015-16 season. When asked about a potential move for Higuain on Saturday, Sarri replied: ‘I’m still waiting for the best Morata. Chelsea will have to cough up £45million for Juventus star Daniele Rugani after holding talks with the Serie A giants in Italy. Maurizio Sarri has identified the 23-year-old as his primary defensive target after voicing concerns about the strength of Chelsea’s central defence. I don't think anyones getting carried away after just one friendly game, His tests will be a lot tougher as the season goes on and he may need a little time to adapt but it's not as if he is a raw recruit is he.. He has a decent amount of experience behind him which I am fairly sure will be put to good use.. You forgot City... Won the title while playing some of the most attractive football in the league, We won the league and cup with Ancelotti playing attractive attacking football, It's not like it can't be done...

What I enjoyed about his play yesterday was that he kept things simple and effective.. has a good eye for a pass and moves the ball around quickly, does not dwell on it too much reducing the chances of being crowded out or being caught in possession.. Looking at the way we went about the game yesterday the passing was geared up to one or two touches and quick passing movements.. It would be nice to be fighting for the Title and all that but I would put good attractive attacking football above silverware in Sarri's first season.. It would make a nice change if the team had some attacking intent going into matches rather than being defensively minded as we have done in the past... Defending when needed is part of the game but shouldn't be a fucking 90 minute mission...

That's all they should be.. All these pre season club competitions they have are meaningless... just a chance to parade the badge and merchandise, they should be about match fitness and trying out systems/tactics etc.. seeing who fits best and where, giving the fringe players a chance to show they might be worth a punt.. not that it matters how well they seem to do in pre season as they only get lumped out on loan anyway, well they do at our club anyway..
