  1. Footage of a 3 year old chimney sweeper from the 1930's. - 9GAG Bet the youngster was grateful for being in full time employment...
  2. Strategic planning.... Why would we be willing to let another 2 players go in that direction if they are being twats calling dibs on all the players we try to sign by promising them streets paved with gold??? If I was Chelsea I would only offer both those players in return for De Jong maybe if he was willing to come which I understand he would be.. Other than that Barca can
  3. I would give it 7/10 myself... As action flicks go it was not too bad...
  4. Pretty poor result all round, I have seen enough of this pre-season to know we are going to come somewhere between 4th and 6th... Our attack is non existent and we are going to have the same problems we did last season, lot's of possession but not a lot to show for it, It will take at least 5-10 games to settle the new players in and can see us being further behind the front two than we were last season.. Thing will be if these players have arrived off the back of what Tuchel wanted and we don't improve what then for him under the new owner I wonder??

  6. Immortality Pill rejected by two thirds of Americans study finds... and let's be honest I think the majority of the rest of the world will probably be relieved about that.. A new study has found that the majority of Americans would choose not to take a pill that would make them immortal. Roughly 900 people were asked whether they’d take a pill which would allow them to live forever at their current age. According to research published in the Journal of Aging Studies, only around 33 per cent of the people surveyed said yes. Around 42 per cent said they wouldn’t take the pill, while 25 per cent said they weren’t sure. Interestingly, as PsychNewsDaily states, the people fell into three separate age categories, but all voted in a similar way. There were young people between the ages of 18 and 29, as well as seniors with an average age of 72 and an older bracket with an average age of 88 who all took part. The figures were consistent across the three groups, but they did have differing opinions on which age they’d ideally be frozen at – with the 88-year-olds, perhaps understandably, stating they’d like to be frozen at a younger age than they were.
  7. Couldn't think of a worse person to win it.. Shows just how low the bar has gone
  8. Chelsea have agreed a £55 million deal with Sevilla to sign Jules Kounde, according to reports. After securing a €40m (£34m) deal for Kalidou Koulibaly over the weekend, Thomas Tuchel has been keen for Chelsea to bring in another experienced central defender. Kounde was wanted by Chelsea last summer but pulled out in the closing stages of the window after Sevilla raised their asking price. The report claims that Kounde has already agreed personal terms with Chelsea and the France international is due to undergo a medical within the next 48 hours.
  9. To be honest mate, unless you have a seat on the board I don't think you know anymore about what our plans are than anyone else... It's just the usual pre-season guff that no-one really cares about until they actually sign...
  10. Been reading that we were trying to rob him, or at least made inquiries to that end... If Barca want to clear the decks for more incoming then they will have to concede on the asking price at some point..
  11. Thoughts on the upcoming season mate?? I know it's only pre-season but you have started well enough, that absolute mauling of Liverpool must have been satisfying.. What's the general feeling so far.. has to be a bit more positive surely
  12. After going at each other in a sad attempt to grab some power for themselves they release this statement.. The Conservative Party will come together again in the "spirit of harmony and love" after the leadership race, a Cabinet minister has said. Do me a fucking favour...
