  1. @Teso dos Bichos you live in England? Had me stitches, mate.
  2. They are sports jerseys. They aren't meant for everyday wear.
  3. One thing American sports get right.
  4. @SirBalon now that is a jersey. Timeless in design, no intrusive sponsors, and above all simple and iconic. It will never happen but it’d be nice to see the same thing for other clubs, Real’s clean white kit, Atletico’s mattress, Best’s United, the clean stripes of AC and Inter, and so forth. I do remember that United jersey from about a decade ago but if I recall correctly it was very rugby-polo esque. Must have been the style of the 50s

    Visit me, you Canadian fuck.
  6. I don't particularly like it but Bale isn't a bad player by any stretch of the imagination. It is a trade off between nuance and brute force though.
  7. James Rodriguez Oleg Salenki Denilson El Hadji Diog Kleberson
  8. This is why players should never be bought off the back of a international tournament.
  9. @Blue Are we meeting for the Aus v Peru game?

Mum sent me a photo of me and grandad today. Makes me very sad looking at it, as I’m now realising come my next birthday he has been gone for a full decade. Not only did I lose my only grandad but I lost my father figure that day.
  11. How the high hell don't you people love Blade Runner? It is one of the greatest Sci-Fi films ever made. The blending of noir and science fiction is absolutely astounding, the implications of humanity contrasted by Deckard's and Rachel's relationship and Deckard's and Gaff's reltionship. The west's cultural imitations of the now dominant east-asian culture (the opposite to real life as the east imitates the west). The struggle of coming to terms with death and the futility of creation (one cannot help one's nature but can choose to behave accordingly) seen in Roy's reaction to knowing complete futility (murder) and realising his time is over. (saving a life)

  13. If it were him, it's kind weird masquerading as someone else. Maybe they'll take me serious this time.
  14. Aye, and Barcelona won the lottery when a bunch of kids born around the same time in Barcelona turned out to be prodigal footballers.
  15. What happened to Jose Manuel Jurado?

      SirBalon

He was at Espanyol last I heard and Quíque Sánchez Flores told him that he didn't have a place for him in his plans.  That was the last I heard to be honest.

  16. I know, that is done in the Philippines as well. The wifey has very Spanish family names, Ouarte (which I think is a corruption of Duarte), Mercado, Arias, Jimenez, etc.

It was ridiculous fun. Da Bears dominated the first half and then promptly shat the bed. I think NFL may have won me over.
