    Boxing

Tim Tszyu, the current darling of Australian boxing just destroyed Carlos Ocampos in under eighty seconds. Watch the extended highlights, it was a shitshow.
  2. @Dr. GonzoRemember when I was complaining about how Twitter users couldn’t differentiate between the use of federal and public wealth and private wealth? It happened again
  3. That is completely wrong. The USA wants a high incarceration rate for the industrial prison complex. It’s a business like any other. It’s entirely by design to create a lower class of people with no chance of rehabilitation, just to exploit them. They are saddled with a debt to the prison, no skills, emotional damage, and very little employment opportunity. It creates a cycle of ignorance that exploits prison labour and ensures that there is always an excess of labour in the occupational fields that they can enter. Do you ever think how fucked up it sounds when you type out shit like ‘cull the herd’? Straight out a chattel slavery guidebook.
  4. There is nothing wrong with stopping your support for a club that you cannot morally compromise with. I’ve stopped following many teams because of ownership. Newcastle United directly benefit from suffering in Saudi Arabia. Now most people in the developed world do benefit from suffering in their day to day lives, coffee, tea, chocolate, clothing sweatshops, are all things we take for granted. I’d respect someone if they were to stop consuming coffee and chocolate on a moral stance, for instance, but it’s a minor sacrifice that largely won’t change much except removing oneself from the cycle. Others material goods are harder to give up, like consumer electronics and clothes we kind of need those to interact with the modern world. I’d respect anyone if they were to withdraw or boycott Newcastle United due to the ownership, as it’s a non-essential product, but I also understand the emotional attachment.

  7. I wanted to read that tweet you mentioned and made the mistake of reading Twitter. Bunch of morons conflating the Saudi state owning a team and private USA ownership of teams. Yes, American foreign policy is evil but it has nothing to do with FSG.
  8. No it doesn’t, it is pretty much universally agreed that it has no effect on crime.
  9. Buy new players to replace old players Score when in possession REVOLUTIONARY The whole thread is acting like the reinvention of the wheel. Musing on what was obvious to coaches in the 70s and 80s like Brian Clough, Ferige, Wenger, Cruyff, Menotti, probably even earlier with Shankly, Busby, Paisly. But every action positive has a negative, that’s why every attacking philosophy is countered and beaten down by pragmatism, Bilardo, Herrera, Simeone, Revie, Mourinho, then the cycle begins again with positivity beating negativity. Control F my posts in this thread and you’ll find me stating in 2020 the exact same observation, because it’s obvious and a reoccurring pattern of the sport. I’ve been saying for years that the best at it was SAF, maintaining dominance, refreshing, and recreating.
  10. You’re right because I couldn’t stomach the tone of the first five posts. ‘True religion must transform the nature of the individual’ get the fuck outta here

    Cooking

Making a Cuban pork roast, well I suppose it is closer to a stew because I’m trying to make a jus as well.
  12. You forgot the biggest union busting law in USA history. Biden is a commie tho
  13. Now arrest the previous 44 and the 1 after.
  14. 200% you fucken tell em mate. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, everyone is already paying into an insurance scam. Cut that bullshit middleman out and if everyone put that money into national healthcare people might not be scared to seek medical attention. But that would never happen because of someone earns more money than me, they are morally and ethically superior, deserving better medicine.
  15. It’s a system designed for those with money to skip ahead of the line and have the best medicine for themselves. Socialism for the rich. The USA probably has the best doctors and medicine in the world, but 99% of Americans wouldn’t know that because they can’t afford it.

Beautiful! I hope you had fun despite the result!
  18. Neoliberalism is a conservative ideology mate. Nothing new about preserving global capitalism and imperialism for the benefit on the USA on the cost of developing and struggling countries. It’s part and parcel for whatever these republicans/conservatives/neoliberals/libs/neocons are or aren’t to be ‘fiscally responsible’ with their own wealth but not the wealth of others. They don’t maintain their personal wealth by spending it. Lawmaking in the USA is designed and drafted by a small cadre of businesses and its cringe to say because how often it is ineloquently stated - of rich, ivy-educated, white, old, Yankee-men, and if they aren’t rich, ivy-educated, white, old, Yankee-men, they exist and operate within the culture set by those people. Of course they come in different flavours, the conservative good ol boy racist, the smile at you from daggered teeth ‘ally of minorities’ racist with white saviour complex, the self made ‘I got mine’ noveau-rich; but all have the barometer of valuing a person’s value of morality and ethics by the size of their bank account and property.
  19. Fining them an entire years worth of money won’t make them not racist. If anything it will probably worsen the problem. Now they’ll just double down as a victim
