  1. He's been cake shamed. I wonder who the rat was.... probably Frank Kramer.
  2. Fuck it, you're bottom of the table and nothing is going right. May as well fill your hole with some cake . This has literally got me laughing out loud.
  3. Honestly, it probably comes down to the amount of pressure that are put on players at bigger clubs. At Freiburg players are nurtured and I really do think that environment brings out the best in them. Hell, I'd run through brick walls for Streich.
  4. Funny that I've always associated him with "that goal". I have no idea how good he is as a player .
  5. I don't want them to win the title. But if they take points off of Bayern to make the race a little tighter I can live with that.
  6. First match after the QC break is Leipzig - Bayern. And Bayern players may have a QC hangover. Have to stay positive.
  7. Yes, I'm surprised there isn't a bigger La Liga presence on this forum. I have no interest in Real or Barca but I like watching the rest of the league.
  8. Honestly, I did go there to look first. I talk to myself in here or I talk to myself in there, it's all the same really .
  9. There was no matchday thread for 11/4-11/6. I think admin slipped up there.
  10. Anyone watch the El Gran Derbi this past weekend? Very entertaining with 3 red cards and a screamer from Guldelj in the ~86' to get Sevilla a point. It felt like Betis weren't ready to be the #1 club in the city and they couldn't handle the pressure. When Iglesias was sent off in the 50th minute the stadium was deflated. It was just a matter of time before they conceded at that point. I thought the red on Fekir was a bit harsh, but considering I don't really like the guy I just laughed.
  11. I showed this picture to my 15-year old and asked him what was wrong with it. Within 2 seconds he says "his ball is hanging out" .
  12. As a sports club owner he is a good one. I'm not sure that translates to the European football model though. Too many times Americans get involved in football club ownership because they see dollars flying, not because they have any connection to a club/tradition or have any love for the sport. It's also important that they surround themselves with people who understand the European game. I think the American ownership model in Europe has been a mixed bag. Liverpool have done well and I think Roma are also on the right path finally. But Man Utd and Arsenal (up until recently) have been horror stories.
  13. Just started watching the Austrian league. The Admiral Bundesliga doesn't seem to have a strong YouTube presence so I might have to just find a club and follow their stream. SV Austria Salzburg has a strong presence in the 3rd tier because of their history but finding their matches on TV would be a nightmare.
  14. Funny, I was just about to post this. Very cool.
  15. This is why Deutsch football is second to none.
  16. Had the opportunity to see them for free a few weeks back but I had never heard of them so I passed. I'm getting old as the idea of going to a concert just doesn't sound appealing anymore.
