Made another Ragù alla bolognese. Started with a simple sofrito (chopped onions, carrots and celery) sautéed in butter and olive oil, added ground beef and a bit of pork which I extracted from Salsiccia. Deglazed with red wine, whole milk, added some tomato paste and beef stock and cooked it for 3 1/2 hours until it had the right texture. Rounded up with some salt and black pepper, served with parmigiano reggiano. As original as it gets.

I live in the north of Düsseldorf, and there was just heavy rain that turned the local stream into a river basically. A few gardens next to the stream have been a bit flooded, but other than that we were really lucky. In the South and East of Düsseldorf, people had to be evacuated and have no electricity. But nothing compared to what happened in the Eifel region where those houses collapsed and people died. This was in the south of Düsseldorf:

We have severe floodings in some parts of Germany today. My little local stream turned into a river. In one part of my city, people already had to be evacuated.

Reminds me of those Playstation video games where you drove against your ghost version of your fastest lap. I think it was Gran Tourismo? But it is definitely very interesting to see. Lando was ahead for a long time. The work that must have gone into that video as well. I saw his videos before, and many said that he'll probably get a job at SKY or some other broadcaster very soon. I wouldn't rule that out.

I'm halfway through Season 2. Very entertaining series. They also use great pop songs in almost every episode.
