  1. I was disappointed we did not get a third, I think if you score first you will have a decent chance to get through. I don't expect you to play so poorly on the return leg. Your home crowd can certainly be the extra man if you get the first goal.
  2. Not sure if it is weak personalities or says more about Alex Ferguson. I've heard about the Beckham hairdryer incident yet what is not said is about Fergie, did he let his temper do the motivational work? Terry smashing up the room next to the dressing room at half time has recently come out and was unusual behaviour tolerated by Mourinho. I also think Roy Kean would have been pretty good at motivating his team mates. Maybe some need the fear factor to go and out and perform at the highest level.
  3. The police claim to only act on hard evidence. Very hard to obtain with sexual abuse.
  4. I find it interesting that in the case of Maxwell and Epstein, Clinton is revealed as a frequent flyer on Epstein's Private plane yet no-one wants to dig any deeper. Of course Clinton is a former US president and stands on the rostrum at the inauguration of new presidents so it must be some ghastly mistake. It was also interesting to hear Bill Gates wanted to meet Epstein as he thought he was a powerful person.
  5. Dad is reading the current Lee Child co-authored with his son Andrew, my present to him this xmas along with a crime novel.
  6. Interesting link. Yes I agree there is a lot of machiavellian stuff going on that does not reach the tabloids not because they don't want to run with it just because the consequences could be challenging. I was watching one of these new travel programs a year or so ago, might have been with Simon Reeve or another yet they went to Iran and Tehran and into a shopping hypermarket. They chatted with young Iranians and a number were wearing UK football shirts. The program never asked how they might get them yet was showing intentionally or incidentally that Iran did have market opportunities.
  7. Read a lot of Jack Reacher, bought one once for the flight to NZ to see family and lent it to my father who then went and bought the entire series. I have just got the fourth and last Book of Babel https://www.amazon.co.uk/Fall-Babel-Books/dp/0316518190 Reminds me of the LOTR and though fantasy set in relatively modern times.
  8. Being a match going Chelsea fan since late 80s to late 90s have disliked most Arsenal fans (present forum members excepted) thought Arteta would improve Arsenal and then thought he would not make it re the bad press. Glad to see he has been given time and think he is improving them with a young team which have not peaked though shows a lot of potential. Never rated Lacazette though think in this side he fits in much better. Don't think they will get silverware this season have a reasonable shout for top 4 probably just missing out.
  9. I stumbled across the Dora Explora film and the Lost City of Gold. I have a niece that is mixed Spanish and English and she used to love Dora when she was small. So this had novelty factor for me yet was actually pretty good and funny in places. It's a bit like Crocodile Dundee meets Indiana Jones yet the high school scenes are funny too. I don't think my niece now 15 liked it though I think it is now more a family film rather than just a child's film.
  10. I thought that too, an ex-solder I know from a current affairs program has a younger wife by about 10 years. They go mountain biking and now in his early 60s he is struggling to keep up with her. He said he was ok after the first vacc just a bit weird, said his wife said she would never take another vaccine again in her life. They both took the later boosters without incident though don't think that was Modena.
  11. Which country are you in, most in England reacted to the first vaccine rather than the later ones.
  12. In the 80s as a teen on holiday we found by chance our uncle and aunt were staying in a neighbouring town and so they joined us for a few days. My uncle was a salesman and a funny guy though he had quite a large abdomen and decides to join us in the pool, calling out 'look at me us boys' as he decides to dive into the pool with what looks like a duck dive. We watched as hit the water and then his legs stopped, he had dived in the shallow end. When he surfaces he has blood on his head. As a result of this he sees the camp doctor who tells him you have really high blood pressure and so you can only do one of alcohol, sunbathing or swimming in a day. He later got meds though not sure if it worked.
  13. This looks like Middle England to me rather than far right or conspiracy theorists -
  14. The problem for me is vaccine scientists work for private companies with shareholders and can only do tests they are told to do. The vaccines are the first genetic vaccines ever, and the first according to the BBC news reports was giving people side effects like Bell's Pausy. I think they were spoken to stop that type of reporting and after a few days there were no further reports of adverse effects. Yet you have to ask why so many in the health industry changed jobs or got sacked rather than get vaccinated, what had they seen? We have read Matt Le Tissier come out and say he has never seen so many suffer cardiac symptoms in such a short time during his 17 year career. You may recall Thalidomide damaged children in the UK, a US medical doctor intervened in the US to stop it being used as she was concerned about some of its properties and was roundly attacked for this stance. She stuck to her guns and the US never got children with the deformities from this drug we saw in the UK.
  15. Here's another one, I guess London football fans have nowhere to go,
  16. I agree with that and think the part in bold is very sad overkill, protective measures could be put in place.
  17. I can get headaches from too high a temperature as the blood pressure increases. Work stress can trigger headaches yet I think that is also blood pressure related. Lastly lack of sugar or meat or dairy as I have IBS, If I don't get enough it can get bad headaches.
  18. It's been a while since they had anything to laugh about lets hope they enjoy the moment.
  19. I have to be careful with Smart phones and Smart meters and other tech that puts outs electric fields. I was talking to a systems chap at work about wi-fi sensitivity and he said his boy was getting bad headaches. I asked where his son was sleeping and then the penny dropped, 'Shit between two routers!' We are told this sensitivity does not scientifically exist yet I know a few that have it in my circle that have similar issues. I also bought testing devices at first. Keep a diary where you were and also if bought a consumer durable. My ex thought she was dying a few years ago and after a Q & A realised she had bought mobile wifi head stuff so she could jog and chat at the time. After getting rid of that she was fine again and off the meds and ran a half-marathon a month later.
  20. I take it you are working in a different office. Feeling tired and fatigued is explainable the other sensations might suggest something else, I only say this as I discovered in my 30's I had a bad childhood head injury after going alternative. I might have dismissed it yet had experienced a lot strange symptoms all through my life. In my Dad's doctors surgery has a warning to parents if their child has a head injury to urgently contact their GP..
  21. This is rather alarming, alleged inventor and M.D of the vaccine speaks out on it: https://www.bitchute.com/video/KxW1zjIitK8B/
  22. I agree with you on Corbyn. I think it is a fair question as to whether Biden will last the term and that raises the spectre of a Harris presidency though in that scenario Hilary's might make a move.
  23. Yes I agree he is a narcissist and makes some crass remarks in his game of having the last word. My bro thinks he will be back to be president again, I can see why though don't think he will win the Republican lead just don't ask me who will as I've no idea.
  24. Pleased about Bellerin he was beginning to develop a habit of scoring against us.
