  1. If only they could practice what they preach, eh? I remember Nadine Dorries meeting with Johnson and attending (full) parliament while she was awaiting results from a COVID test this time last year
  2. Gove admitted it here: https://www.theguardian.com/world/2020/apr/19/michael-gove-fails-to-deny-pm-missed-five-coronavirus-cobra-meetings Apparently it's normal for a PM to not attend COBRA meetings, but during a major crisis, as this was (and don't even need hindsight for that), the PM usually would attend. Johnson chose not to.
  3. BBC News - Covid vaccines cut risk of serious illness by 80% https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/health-56240220 Single shot of Pfizer or Oxford vaccine reduces risk of hospital admission by 80%
  4. Something to look out for in the clear night skies in next few days
  5. Do you have those super-injunction gagging order things in Australia?
  6. Barnes out for 6 weeks. Evans off injured today. This season takes the piss. I'm joining the calls to end the season now.

Is that what's for lunch today ?
  8. Just went for a walk and noticed the extremely bright and low moon. Apparently a phenomenon called 'the snow moon'. It really does look superb. Beautiful.

Congrats on the double trouble Very happy for you mate.
  10. I agree, my experiences of the ground supporting my club have been superb.
  11. This doesn't count as a Liverpool injury surely
  12. as @RandoEFC says, I'll give credit that they were able to get so many vaccines in with so many orders, and have the availability of them. But let's be honest, the NHS is in charge of the programme of actually giving the vaccine out - if it was left to government we'd be in the position of where 'test and trace' got us, which has quite simply been an absolute clusterfuck under Dido Harding, a government-appointed lead for that scheme. You didn't get the vaccine purely because of Brexit and Boris. You might have got it quicker, but if you can't give credit, in the same breath as giving it to Brexit/Johnson, to the NHS for getting it then that's a shame. I'm still waiting (patiently) for all the other reasons Brexit is such a wonderful thing to happen to the UK

    Cricket

As crazy as this is, you can't not love test cricket. Too often batsmen get the better of most test matches so great to see bowlers mop up more frequently. The wicket on the 2nd test match was much worse than this.
  14. Felt for the Mexican death metal dude. Had absolutely nothing to do with. It felt like it was just filler for the programme because there was nothing else to discuss. The guy wasn't even at the the hotel at the same time ffs.
  15. That is just tragic I feel very sorry for him
  16. True, but I think anyone can categorically say its not just down to pure bad luck that several teams have suffered plenty of injuries, especially this season compared to previous.
  17. Just because Fergie did it doesn't mean it's fine for another manager to . Fergie was elite-level moaning but also elite-level manager. I think Mourinho gets singled out more than Klopp, in my opinion.
  18. Maddison out for the foreseeable. Gone to see a specialist for a recurrence of a hip injury. Current injury list - Maddison, Pérez, Praet, Fofana, Justin. All first team absences.
