  1. @Mel81x I don't know whether you have seen it. I know @Dr. Gonzo has. I've just seen the second film. I didn't personally think the second one had that its so bad its good feel like the first one. Its one of those films that is a horror film with mixed to slightly negative reviews. I'm sure you know what I mean. You'll probably not gonna like it if you're not a horror fan. However if you like horror films and like the idea of taking characters that children like and turning them into killers you will like it. Especially if you liked the first one. Slightly more story and backstory to it. However there still isn't much of a story. It's more about lots of killing. Overall I liked it. It's silly it's gory it's what you'd expect from it really
  2. Yeah I know. And it won't make much difference if he's the leader or not. But he is still the face of the Democrats. But would it increase their chances to win the election if they got rid of him or give them less chance?
  3. I got a bit of credit from @Devil-Dick Willie I'm gonna celebrate and go on a two day bender as my expectations are so low this makes me feel amazing
  4. I think we could have said that about most england squads to be fair. Has there ever been a time we've been happy with the way england are playing and thought we were getting the best out of the players? Not in the 26 years I've been watching England. When we won on penalties against Switzerland I still went crazy for half an hour and hugged every random stranger. I didn't think well I'm not gonna celebrate because we should have won in full time
  5. @Devil-Dick Willie I've explained it quite clearly mate. I really cant be bothered to have long repetitive discussions on it like I used to. If I've lost the debate I don't really care.
  6. @Devil-Dick Willie as you said let's stop the name calling. I'm sorry I insulted you. Let's look at it. First of all southgate isn't actually that popular with England fans. Most don't like him. England have always been shit. We've won one knockout game against a major team in our history that's wasn't in England. That was a two legged match against Spain in 1968. We've never won a one on one knock-out against a major team over one game. Under Southgate we have had our two biggest world cup victories. And we have played shit teams before and struggled. We've had our two biggest ever quarter final victories. We knocked out germany at home but we did knock them out. I'm gonna go back to 2008. I think under southgate we would have qualified in 2008. I think in 2010 we would have won our group avoided Germany and perhaps beaten Uruguay but definitely lost to Netherlands. I think in 2012 we would have had the same results. 2014 I'm not to sure. It was in South America I don't know I'm not to sure on that one. 2016 I don't think we would of lost to Iceland. I think we would of topped the group and lost to Belgium or Portugal. So yes I do think we would of done better under him. I don't think he's a great manager but I think he's one of the better England managers. Although I do think he has had a lot of luck I think he has been good at creating a good team bond. When you look at it I think he is only really getting the bare minimum. But England have struggled to even do that at times
  7. @Stan let's clear this up. Are you saying England are getting good results or are you saying you dont care that we are playing shit we're in the semi final and thats all you care about after never seeing England win anything?
  8. That's because you don't alot of the time. You make a counter argument to something someone else said. Or you go an make a point which is completely subjective and pretend it's an objective fact. I've seen you get mad because someone likes house of dragon and you don't.
  9. He's always like that mate. If you look at his posts across a range of subjects he can't handle people disagreeing with him on anything
  10. Fair enough. But I'm glad over half the country voted for left or central left. And also glad that France rejected the far right. I can tolerate moderate conservatives. I don't like it but I can tolerate it. But the hatred the far right spread is worrying.
  11. @Rucksackfranzose I don't get your point mate
  12. Labour and lib dems are central left.
  13. When you look at the percentage of the votes Labour got 34% I think lib dems got 13%. Assuming that the other left wing parties got 4% between them Britain is a left wing country currently. Also when you consider there are a lot of Conservative voters who won't vote for them right now as they feel they are to right wing I feel that we aren't to bad at the moment.
  14. @The Palace Fan One thing I will say I'm glad pac is out. I was worried he would be maineventing all in
  15. No of course not. But I am surprised there aren't more movements to push for a fairer system
  16. We did have a vote on it a few years ago. But it was that system where you vote for candidates in order of preference. It was rejected massively. But having a system where more votes means more seats would seem fairer.
  17. So correct me if I'm wrong. Proportional representation gives the parties that get the most votes more power? So reform would have finished third? Shy don't we do that surely it seems more democratic.
  18. It's an entirely subjective matter. You're trying to make something subjective objective which it's not. Elite athletes go out to win. If they can do it in style great but if not winning is the most important thing to them. Managers are the same. They go out to win. If they have the means to win and play great football they will. I'm pretty certain if Cruyff wasn't getting the results and his job was in danger be would soon change his style
  19. @Spike If you care about playing great football more than winning that's fine and that's your choice. But if someone cares about winning more that's their choice as well
  20. Does that mean you are going with netherlands now?
  21. Risky. Watkins has never played in the champions league. Never really played in high pressure games. Starting him in a European championship semi final might be to much for him
  22. Yeah but if you'll the only one who will buy it it's not a great idea
  23. @MUFC is there a simulation game where you lick womens feet? If there is you'd know about it
  24. @Dr. Gonzo Do you still live in the states? Do you think it would be better for the Democrats to get rid of Biden or stick with him? Obviously if they stick with him he probably won't be involved in much decision making the people around him will do it and he'll just be the face of the party. But will they have a better chance of winning the election if they get someone else in or will it dent their chances more? Obviously neither are ideal.
