  1. Okay this was a couple of years ago but Chelsea did play Salah (obviously not enough) across a front three numerous times and he obviously didn't cause havoc. I'm not denying that Salah is world class and he's putting together one of the best seasons we've seen from any current player, but it's still one season. I know he did well at Roma too but not to the extent that he was being talked about as one of the top 5 players in the world otherwise he wouldn't have ended up at Liverpool. Look at Mahrez for example, best player in the league for one season then he went back to being "just" a quality player who would still get into most sides in world football but isn't a contender for the Ballon D'Or or anything like that. Not taking anything away from Salah but let's see him keep this up for more than six months before concluding that he is a better player overall than Eden Hazard who has his dips but still has on his CV that he was a key player in multiple title winning sides.
  2. Lot of shite being chatted here. Play Salah or De Bruyne out of position up front in that Chelsea game at the weekend and they would have looked like horse shit too. Whether or not those two are better than Hazard or not, using performances like that aren't a basis for an argument. De Bruyne and Salah have had better seasons than Hazard and are probably slightly better players overall but at the same time, take each of those players out of their respective sides and Chelsea would suffer the most. Goes to show that De Bruyne and Salah are surrounded by a lot more quality than Hazard right now which allows them to showcase their talents better.
  3. Fuck off I want to see Alonso wipe the floor with the two little bitches.
  4. Cech has been awful this season. Fair play to him for being man enough to admit it but this surely has to be his swansong at the top level. Class player throughout his career though.
  5. Moshiri needs to keep his mouth shut and get his wallet open to pay off Fat Sam
  6. Feels like Wenger could actually be on his way this time. Unless they win the Europa League then it's FOUR MORE YEARS.
  7. Ancelotti has been mentioned again. Apparently Simeone's people contacted us when Koeman was sacked asking about the project but stating that the interest wasn't there until maybe the end of the season. Why Simeone would ever even think about managing us is beyond me, I can see Ancelotti coming for the money but is this type of job his specialty? I suppose his name may help attract some more star players. Fonseca seems the most realistic of those mentioned and apparently he wants the Premier League. Allardyce is disappointing me now, he has resigned himself to leaving in the summer and taking the huge payoff he doesn't deserve because we were forced to offer him another 12 months worth £6m more in salary, and he isn't even pretending to give a shit.
  8. Agree with this but in response to this page I'd say that a) players happiness does still have an impact, even if that is secondary to the impact of silverware opportunities and often money and b) it is still important to get players on long contracts, just look at Arsenal to see what happens if you're careless, so it's still worth celebrating contract extensions even if now the reason is "we are well protected when the bastard hands in a transfer request" rather than "yes this good player will be with us for another 4 years".
  9. Rather than somebody bothering to do this from scratch, is there something of interest already out there? E.G. https://www.fantasyracers.com/grandprix/general/mainpage.php Or https://gppredictor.com/landing
  10. I'd be up for this as long as it takes hardly any effort .
  11. After 2,787 games each, Real Madrid and Barcelona have the exact same all time goal difference. Nice stat.
  12. Games with micro transactions like this are becoming a serious problem for some people and will be getting investigated at some point soon I'm sure. I have limited sympathy though for people who spend £80 on FIFA points to have a chance of getting players who are only slightly better than the ones you can get with a bit of grinding when the game itself costs £50 in the first place. Utter madness.
  13. Got bored of the prospect of saving up 400k coins for new players for my La Liga team so made a Premier League squad out of spare players from packs and anyone I could buy for 350 or 400 coins. 3-5-2 formation. GK - Gomes, Krul CB - Ogbonna, Francis, Collins, Cook, Dragovic, Jorgensen CDM - Fer, Carrick, Obiang, Milivojevic RM - Carrillo, Dyer LM - Jesé, Rodriguez CAM - Noble, Cleverley ST - Defoe, Okazaki, Niasse, Joselu Love it.
  14. Downloaded Call of Duty : Modern Warfare Remastered following a wave of nostalgia. Not keen on the 500 extra camos and stuff per weapon compared to the original game and other unnecessary collectibles but otherwise it's perfect.
  15. Won't load but I'm guessing that's the Calvert-Lewin clip. Best hope he doesn't he didn't call anyone a gimp on his Twitter when he was 13 years old or he'll be facing an investigation from the FA when the Kopites find it.
  16. I can't stand playing ultimate team online. Most days I just play squad battles.
  17. No but finally got Griezmann for my Ultimate Team this weekend
  18. The one thing Everton fans have been right about this season. To be fair with us he scored in a couple of derbies, had a decent record against Spurs, scored at least once against Arsenal, multiple times (I think) against City and he also had the FA Cup quarter final against Chelsea where he scored both goals to send us through. He's not the type of player though typically to be the difference in games like this when United need him to which is something he severely lacks compared to Kane, Aguero or Liverpool's attackers.

20 slams and counting. Unbelievable really. Obviously the three biggest rivals are not at it at the moment but it still says a lot about Federer that he's so comprehensively ahead of players 10-15 years younger than him still.

  21. Nah but we're small time for celebrating an equaliser don't forget.
  22. Everton fans are so obsessed about Liverpool.
