I read the book "Williams". Definitely would recommend. The story of his life and the F1 team, written by various engineers, drivers, friends and family, very good.

You'd think so wouldn't you but I think that after the bus debacle was just swept under the rug with no consequences for the likes of Farage, politicians have realised that they won't be held accountable for point blank lying to the public due to the pathetic, biased nature of the newspapers meaning that half of them ignore it because that suits their agenda, while the other half lose all credibility by running exaggerated smear campaigns against the party they don't support. As they've now realised this, it seems that they don't even have the shame to try and pretend that they actually believe what they campaign for is in the interest of the country. Pretty dire, to be honest.

On Twitter yesterday the Everton lot were on about being back at Finch Farm for pre-season while Lukaku was tweeting photos of himself in LA. Admittedly, this might have no bearing on anything as it's quite common for international players to come back slightly later after playing in qualifiers a few weeks ago.

I like Funes Mori, he's never particularly replicated his international form on a consistent basis for us though. I'd play Mori ahead of Williams but it's unclear who Koeman prefers between those two and Jagielka.

One possible line up - that would only leave three players from the pre-Koeman era, two if you replace Mori with Williams which is a possibility. Man knows what he wants and knows how to get shit done.

If Southampton are interested that's got sweetener for Van Dijk all over it. Depends if Sakho wants to go there though.

Arouna Kone has joined Sivasspor in Turkey. He was obviously never a good signing for us but I have nothing against him so good luck to him out there.

Hamilton's social media is 200% cringe I'm afraid. I don't know if he still does but his twitter profile once said on it "racing driver and musician" as if the two things are of equal stature in his life. I think the reason I can't bring myself to support him like I do most British athletes is the way he's absolutely "Americanised" himself, he even speaks with a bit of a Yank accent. Can't stand the bloke, sorry. An all time great F1 driver but can't stand him.

I hate Hamilton and if push comes to shove I'd possibly prefer Vettel to win the title though more of the bullshit he pulled at the last race will soon change my mind about that. Vettel could have been disqualified for that move in Baku but probably got the right penalty and people are only upset because he ended up ahead of Hamilton. If not for the headrest incident Hamilton would have won and Vettel would have been fifth which would have been fair enough but these things happen. That said, anyone making out that there wasn't a clear injustice in Vettel finishing above Lewis after what happened needs their head checking.

Correct decision for me if only for the fact that overruling the race day stewards' decision sets a dangerous precedent for the future.
