  1. This is one of the safest places on the internet if you're playing Ragnarok. No spoilers and you can browse freely. I do feel your pain, I almost ruined it for myself and then I said i'll finish it (almost done) and then I can browse.
  2. Someone at FIFA saw what Activision was doing and said, "You know, I think we can do better" and here we are.
  3. There's a different kind of Pooh being discussed in here now.

Bit late to the party but congrats @Lucas
  5. River City Girls on Steam (steampowered.com) Just finished this and have to say it's very entertaining. If you like Streets or Rage, the new TMNT game or a beat-em-up this is definitely worth the money.
  6. He does a way better job of it in the thread of explaining what it is than I ever could but boy is it fascinating.
  7. @Gunnersaurus @Dr. Gonzo we can Netflix party this when it comes out if you boys are game.
  8. In other news, watching Twitter engineers go back to Twitter posting that they've been laid is probably the heights of pure shamelessness I have ever seen. If you have any self-respect you wouldn't go back to the place that treated you poorly (I say that relatively based on what they get paid and the work they do) to sob. Most of them hopefully land on their feet but this isn't the first culling in tech spaces and really dilutes shit that Microsoft, IBM, etc have done for over two decades now. Shed a tear? Nope, you can fuck right off to the same bucket those other poor engineers went to when takeovers happened.
  9. Nice and RawTherapee is getting an update again this year. Even nicer. I'll check it out.
  10. Yeah they are a bit cuntish and have been for a while now. What they did before they dropped this Pantone bomb however was scoop up Figma - Figma: the collaborative interface design tool. which was what the community wanted so this kind of makes sense because now no one has anywhere to really run and I really do hope this sparks someone to create a new set of tools to combat the issue. Lots of folks are just giving out color hex values for free and no one can really stop them.
  11. I am sure they want it to be a horror show with a play on something children love but it does come off a bit comical with the entire way its presented in the trailer. What it shows when it comes out though maybe something totally different who knows. I quite like these kinds of horror movies because they dont' take themselves too seriously and you generally end up laughing by the end of it all.
  12. Never really got into Winnie the Pooh but this looks quite comical at the very least.
  13. @nudge Adobe Just Held a Bunch of Pantone Colors Hostage | WIRED I am sure you've already read this but its pretty shitty by Adobe to do this and then charge the amounts they want to.
  14. The irony that you have to pay money for being you really does sum up a slew of things that will start user migration from the platform to other places. The real question now is where can they go? The answer really is nowhere. Nothing has the kind of reach Twitter does and I feel like this is all just a by-product of reactive thinking from Musk. He needs to recoup his costly investment and the only way to do that is to either shoves ads down the user-bases throats or to charge them for services. He's going for the latter and it's not going to end with the platform's users being very happy about it. I'd rather they crated fiscal bucket plans for advertisers to help boost revenue there and at the same time charge for metrics on the platform vs stupid things like verification, etc. A lot of marketing firms use Twitter as a litmus test for how their users are behaving or getting a general feel on how the community reacts to news. Make that a paid subscription because even if they say no they'll slowly come crawling back when they have to get the data. I'd also go so far as to completely eradicate public search functionality and force search engines to pay for the access to data either via user protection or by allowing monthly allowances on data and annual subscription costs.
  15. I think post the WC we're going to see a shift in the way things go not just for us but for everyone else as well. I can't see this WC as being anything but difficult fitness-wise for players even if Qatar claims to have climate-controlled stadiums.
  16. Bayonetta 3 is getting some really high scores. Might have to check it out. Review: Bayonetta 3 – Destructoid
  17. This is Microsoft's golden egg. Gamepass is untouchable by anyone else. Sony has tried but it's quite poor. Having said that the better title base is on the side of Sony vs Microsoft. And with Sony now pushing titles to PC earlier that just means you don't really need a console to enjoy some of their titles anymore. I will say that my PS5 has gotten quite a lot of good use since I got it.
  18. Let's talk shop here. If we got the Europa League vs a CL spot how bad would that be for this team?
  19. More than just the deaths there are people who have just gone missing. It's quite tragic really considering this was the first time they've had something like this post COVID.
