  1. Great video on understanding how Game AI works. If you are also interested there is a video on how Alien Isolation uses two tiered AI to run itself and man does it do a good job.
  2. It's actually a pretty easy and quick run through even if you go hunting for all the weapons and secrets as well.
  3. Just read that Kenny Dalglish has tested positive for COVID-19 but isn't showing all the symptoms just yet. https://www.bbc.com/news/live/world-52239925?ns_mchannel=social&ns_source=twitter&ns_campaign=bbc_live&ns_linkname=5e90c428e23144067f57b4bd%26Football legend Dalglish tests positive for virus%262020-04-10T19%3A21%3A47.934Z&ns_fee=0&pinned_post_locator=urn:asset:af058273-5d32-4d6c-b850-c83be43a8262&pinned_post_asset_id=5e90c428e23144067f57b4bd&pinned_post_type=share
  4. I finished RE3:NEMESIS today and have to say it was quite a good experience. Granted the boss fight at the end was a bit dull and made quite easy (maybe harder on higher difficulties) but overall its quite a good experience. Have you finished it yet @Bluebird Hewitt?
  5. I played it on Knight level from the start and the parrying never really bothered me as much partly because I found it a bit slow frame-wise. Then again the same game played by a friend showed me that I was better at parrying but totally worthless as combining other special powers to turn situations to my benefit. I have played the Titanfall games and I like them as well but I found them a bit too short campaign-wise. Let me also state for the record that what ID Software did with the latest Doom is probably the best way to teach people game mechanics. They let you try it out for a bit before throwing you back into the game. It does take you away from the action but you aren't left experimenting in-game with it.
  6. For all the shit I give EA. Its actually a good game. Take your time and run through the various planets picking up stuff it comes in handy later.
  7. Not a big fan of the sound because I think SOR2 had a very good backing track.
  8. 6 for me was like a cheap action film with so many cut scenes and I kinda wished I had gotten around to RE7 when it came out as I spent time on some other game first (cant remember which).
  9. I like the RE Original a lot but then CAPCOM did that re-release on the GC and the subsequent HD Remaster for PC and they are so so much better.
  10. Depends on which two you complete My list of RE games to finality is quite long haha and I have played all of them. Also, those Revelation games get so much hate but they are way more fun than some of the other more action-oriented games out in the series. I'd have put REV2 in the top 5 but I thought about what I was playing when I got to REV2 and decided not to.
  11. Top 5 Resident Evil games ever played? I mean there are so many its a hard list to pick from as they've had some stellar titles over the years but I'll give it a shot. Resident Evil 4 - Gamecube Resident Evil Remake - Gamecube Resident Evil 7 - PS4 Resident Evil 2 : Remake - PS4 Resident Evil 3 - Dreamcast
  12. Money buys you friends. Lots of friends on the international scale.
  13. Watch them every now and then didn't know they were exposing China. Thanks, now I have stuff to run in the background while I work.
  14. They are just biding their time and hoping no one finds a vaccine soon. Because once all the dust settles a lot of other grudges are going to be settled and I'd be willing to bet China is #1 on a lot of country lists for "shit to sort out when COVID-19 is dealt with"
  15. Mel's come out with a tweet outlining the backtracking of the club on their decision. Good move by them.
  16. Agreed and I think the club will have to make a statement on whats going on here when this starts to escalate more than it does. I don't think its fair to the money being routed to a place it shouldn't be honestly.
  17. https://www.theguardian.com/football/blog/2020/apr/05/what-would-shankly-do-liverpool-furlough Interesting whats going on.
  18. I successfully evaded Nemesis and learned that I can now dodge him at will. The only thing I haven't tried yet which I am going to when he shows up next is what happens when I unload the grenade launcher into him. I know in the old game he drops weapon expansion kits so I am wondering if its the same here.
  19. That's what I am finding too. I don't really fire as much and this with a handgun, shotgun and grenade (which I havent even bothered to use yet)
  20. "Three sociologists at Princeton University asked hundreds of researchers to predict six life outcomes for children, parents, and households using nearly 13,000 data points on over 4,000 families." If they think that's enough data they are sadly mistaken. Also, Rehoboam would have looked at the problem and said "thats okay i'll just change society to suit my needs" haha.
  21. I think that just adds to the fun factor of the game. I am playing it on standard first to see what its like honestly then I'll do another run.
  22. I like how they dont mess about and start the tension from the get-go. Even the regular zombies aren't easy to dodge anymore.
