    No Death Stars and Lightsabers?
  2. Well that was anticlimactic... Aborted due to an issue at engine startup.

    Snooker

Higgins wins 10-3 in the end, a very dominant win O'Sullivan has now lost all 4 finals he's been in this season

Wouldn't call myself a fan as I wouldn't go out of my way to watch it, but I do enjoy watching it every once in a while...

You're not far off, it's actually about one's love to their parents
  14. My latest image, and probably my proudest one so far... Rosette Nebula in SHO. Taken with a 50cm F3.6 Reflector, total observation time of 2 hours. Processed with DeepSkyStacker + PS.
  15. I can't even fathom what a sad miserable loser one must be to send insults and threats to strangers over the internet...over football, nonetheless.
  16. Don't know if it's true (sounds a bit weird to me), but if it is, then it was thoroughly unfair to Sauber and Haas.
  17. I love it, definitely one of my favourite recent series. Was skeptical at first when it came out, but decided to give it a go and I'm glad I did; binged Season 1 in two nights It's a sort of alt-history which starts with the Soviets beating the Americans to the Moon, and from there on, the space race truly picks up speed. They really captured the spirit of the 60s/70s, in that aspect it's like Mad Men but with NASA instead of the advertising company, and with more "action" to keep it balanced. Especially interesting if you're into the history of the space program; as although it depicts both historical and completely fictional events through the prism of alt-history, it still has a lot of real historical characters (Wernher von Braun, Neil Armstrong, Buzz Aldrin, John Glenn, Gene Kranz, Deke Slayton, etc.) and old footage (used in a very clever way too, I must say). Cinematography, characters and storylines are all top-notch.
  18. So Ferrari confirmed their return to prototype endurance racing by announcing their LMH plans for 2023. That will be 50 years after their last official participation! 2023 Le Mans top class looks very tasty already: Toyota (LMH) Glickenhaus (LMH) Porsche (LMDh) Audi (LMDh) Peugeot (LMH) Ferrari (LMH) very fitting for a 100 Year Anniversary, hopefully more manufacturers will join too.
  19. The art on the Mastcam-Z calibration target is so beautiful...
  20. The most surreal part for me was seeing the sky crane lowering the rover and then jetting away; absolutely incredible. Looked like something straight out of a sci-fi movie.
