  1. Stalin, Hitler, Trotsky, Tito, Freud and Archduke Franz Ferdinand were all living in Vienna in the summer of 1913, and most of them frequented Café Central. This is useful information for time travelers looking for an easy, almost effortless way to drastically change the course of history
  2. And in German dub, one of the skeletons is voiced by Claudio Pizarro
  3. As long as it keeps you posting... Married's not dead, you know
  4. Yeah I emailed him with no success
  5. This is what happens when people don't do their research before they publish videos and get all outraged. Read more about it here: Short summary: it is not real, just a fictional sci-fi concept video from a filmmaker.

    Cooking

Not in the past, but as I get older, I noticed that I get slightly irritated when I'm really hungry. Like, not enough to lose my shit or lash out at people, but I do get annoyed easier.
  7. The way he kicked that door and then used his paw to stop the door from swinging back at him; that's obviously an experienced intruder at work here "NOW WHERE'S MY FUCKING PORRIDGE???"
  8. We should totally de-extinct them at let them roam free.
  9. After @Tommy's recent posts, I reinstalled Stardew Valley and started a new save couple of days ago...and now I am properly hooked again. Gee, thanks Tommy... Really enjoying it, actually even more than I did last time - I think they introduced some updates since the last time I played it, and now the whole gameplay feels even more seamless. 10 hours in so far.
  10. Bread with spreadable cheese (or butter, can't tell for sure) and coffee with cream and sugar + water, looks absolutely ok to me. It's not as if you need a breakfast of 1000 kcal or more while you're spending your time in bed all day and recovering from whatever caused the admission to the hospital anyway... Or maybe it's just the hospital's way to tell them that they're fat
  11. Hey, being a racing driver is an expensive lifestyle, you should be buying several of these to support her
  12. I have no idea what her plans are for 2023, to be honest. Maybe ELMS again? There haven't been any announcements so far...
  13. Yes you did, that team has an all-female lineup, hence the name "Iron Dames"
  14. Which ones? Plenty of drivers still missing from the list. Michael Fassbender is expected to be given the seat in Proton Racing's car #88, thus allowing him to fulfill his dream of competing at Le Mans...
  15. Finally! The entry list is revealed, and it looks spectacular. 13 Hypercars, 11 LMP2s, 14 LMGTE AMs. Very strong turnout, considering it's the breakthrough season for the top class, and even more manufacturers (and customers) will be joining next year. Hypercars: LMP2: LMGTE AM: Full entry list: Jacques Villeneuve still racing full-time at 51
  16. Ferrari just revealed their hypercar driver lineup for 2023 WEC.
  17. I'm curious if you watched the video? Because while I don't know his reputation, this video pretty much just looked int the issue of high number of excess deaths currently, which IS quite worrying. He didn't discuss potential reasons for it, and just presented the data, which I think is fair enough. He also said he's got three shots of vaccine himself, haha. I think healthcare systems worldwide are going through a massive crisis, in general. Anyway, here are the actual numbers in the EU. Germany had around 20% excess mortality in October 2022, almost twice as high as in October 2021 or 2020, with the difference that then the excess deaths could have been explained by Covid for the most part, whereas in 2022, it doesn't account for even half of the excess deaths. I guess autumn/winter can partially be explained by other respiratory viruses like flu circulating, but excess mortality was significantly higher in Germany for the most of the year:

Try a different brand? Apparently, the differences can be massive and lower quality brands can be overwhelmingly bitter, so maybe that's the problem... I personally find sesame taste very overwhelming in general. I use sesame oil when I make some stir fry sauces, and even a small teaspoon is very noticeable.
  19. "From my point of view, it's all the other planets that are spinning backwards".
  20. Yep, Venus rotates very slowly and also "backwards" (i.e. in the opposite direction to other planets). Such a weirdo!
  21. I always wondered what would happen if you attempted to make a landing on a gaseous planet. Like, obviously you can't land as there's no surface, but what exactly would happen? Well I mean in reality you would just get crushed by immense pressure, but ignoring that. Would you just fly through the planet? Or are there some liquid layers you can swim through? Or is there an actual solid core? So many questions...
  22. A day = the time it takes for a planet to rotate once around its axis A year = the time it takes for a planet to complete one orbit around the Sun It takes Venus 243 Earth days to rotate around its own axis, therefore 1 Venus day = 243 Earth days. It takes Venus 225 Earth days to make a full orbit around the Sun, therefore 1 Venus year = 225 Earth days. 243 > 225, therefore 1 Venus day is longer than 1 Venus year.
  23. A day on Venus is longer than a year on Venus.
