YMMV.

It's only +6 at Bathurst, so the race has to start behind the safety car as Pirelli tyres need two laps to warm up

Bought two rolls of Kodak Ultramax 400. 16$ per roll. Fucking hell.

Massive crash in free practice for Bathurst 12h today, Keith Kassulke's Mustang went airborne in a high-speed corner and crashed into the wall. The car pretty much split in two. Driver is ok!

Oh great, more segregation. Like W series, this makes absolutely no sense to me - so if it's basically a F4 exclusively for women, wouldn't it be better to identify the most promising girl talents starting with grassroots karting, and sponsor them to allow them to compete properly with the boys from the get go? Oh and the first announced driver is already 25, and has been rejected by W series previously. Very promising.

Don't think that's even a common symptom anymore. Get well soon!

The Killing Fields is a pretty good movie, I think watching it as a kid was the first time I learned about the events there. There's also a new-ish film available on Netflix and based on a well-known memoir of a survivor, called First They Killed My Father. I would actually recommend it over The Killing Fields, as that one is told mostly from the perspective of a Western journalist, whereas First They Killed My Father is authentically Cambodian and uses Cambodian actors, music, and language.

If you want a similar harrowing experience and you find yourself in Southeast Asia one day, make sure not to skip the former S-21 prison and the Killing Fields in Cambodia. It's crazy how little of it is known and taught in Europe.

You should have bought him a beer

PM me your profile link when you get it... Or post it in the Photography thread, if you don't mind publicity I've had an account there for ages, and while I haven't used it for quite a while, I'd love to get back into it, too...

No, Günter Pröpper

Check out 500px instead of Instagram for photo stuff, it's like Instagram but purely for photography enthusiasts and minus the "influencers" and all the drama!

Yeah, I suspected that you were thinking of distances in North American standards A somewhat related anecdote, my dad once went from Wuppertal to Paris by car with one of the Wuppertaler SV stars back then in the 70s FOR BREAKFAST on the weekend That's about a 6 hour trip... Just to put it into perspective, haha. Nobody batted and eyelid, although granted, they did not posted it on Instagram either back then

Maybe he's another immortal like Keanu Reeves...

Thomas Delaney has joined Hoffenheim on loan until the end of the season...

I personally don't get it. A flight from Munich to Paris is just a bit over an hour... So he flies in the morning, attends some show, and then takes another flight home on the same day. How is that a problem, if he has a day off? Surely, it's his free time, and he has a right to decide how he spends it? As long as he's not drinking and partying for two nights straight or taking part in some dangerous or exerting activities, I don't see how would it be an issue? What if he wanted to visit family in Stuttgart which is over 2 hour trip by car, would Brazzo throw a fit too?... I'm pretty sure that if it wasn't for Neuer's incident and Bayern's recent dip in form, nobody would have even mentioned it...

I'm not too critical of Ducksch, personally. Even if he won't ever be a goal-machine in the 1. Bundesliga and even if there are some other things to be unhappy with, he still managed to get 3 goals and 7 assists so far, not so bad for someone in a promoted team! He still has something to offer to the team, in my opinion.

I was so sure that nothing would happen in the remaining transfer window, I haven't even bothered to read the news There were rumours about Maximilian Philipp, but I just couldn't believe it. Another clever transfer given our resources; I wonder if there's an option to buy at the end of the season. Philipp should at least provide competition for Ducksch, at the very least! A bit disappointed that Burke didn't work out for us; he did score some very important goals at the start of the season, but was unable to build on that, unfortunately.

Haha, since you said it last year, now I always think of it as Bratwurst 12h too I have no idea who these NBC commentators are... I watched the stream with the IMSA Radio/Radio Le Mans commentary, they do a really good job... And yeah, I generally also struggle with American commentators

Brilliant shots, @Viva la FCB! I love the moodiness of some of them (the first one, the last one, and the skyline one), and this one is probably my favourite: Love how much there is going on in that picture! The swimming birds, the flying birds, the one caught in the mid-jump and all the water drops around it. Really nice capture So how does the new camera feel???

I assume nobody else watched Daytona? Turned out to be quite a race.. The final hours were fun to watch, and the final minutes were dramatic. They actually needed a photo finish to determine the winner in the LMP2 class Proton Competition car managed to overtake the leading CrowdStrike Racing right at the finish line and won by just 0.016 seconds Bring on Bathurst 12h next weekend...
