Whoa, what a lineup!

Salihamidzic always comes across as a massive dickhead to me, but then I remember that he's just trying to fill in Uli Hoeneß' shoes...

Here comes FC Hollywood again Whenever they are not winning every match, they are at each other's throats. You love to see it!

Yeah, but it does make you wonder why those statements made it into the press today if everyone knew about it since 2021. There's heavy political games going on, I think

I don't get the joke I'm afraid

Oh great, we really needed another movie or TV show with the name Django in the title... must be at least several dozen of them out there Anyway, this looks like some kind of a re-imagination/adaptation of Corbucci's original Django of 1966 starring Franco Nero... Which is a good thing, as it was one of my first westerns and also one of my favourites overall. It also has this European spaghetti western look, which I love, but I also hate that they included two of the movies' iconic scenes into the trailer already Will definitely give it a go once it's out!

The new season of IMSA kicks off with 24H at Daytona tomorrow, race start at 19:40 CET. This will be the first time we'll see the new hypercars in race action! Lucas Auer has had a big shunt in the first free practice after which he had to be extracted from the completely totaled car by cutting through the roll cage, and has several significant vertebrae fractures in his lower back

Re-reading this: because I recently got this one, which is a sort of a follow-up: The former is probably one of the most harrowing, heart-wrenching books I've ever read; makes me both sad and furious at the same time.

I am going to Thailand in about a month

To put it mildly. Looks like they're going completely crazy there.

Oh look, another one.

Big step towards the upcoming orbital test flight - potentially next month already.

So Liberty Media Corporation have sent a letter to FIA warning them of potential legal action due to Ben Sulayem's criticism of inflated price tag being put on F1 that he posted yesterday. This all comes from the alleged 20 billion USD offer by the Saudi Public Investment Fund earlier, which Liberty Media reportedly rejected.

The person who bought the land and ordered the monument to be built in 1980 used a pseudonym, and then later transferred the land rights to the state, so nobody knows who that person was. These were the 10 guidelines inscribed in the monument in 8 languages (English, Spanish, Swahili, Hindi, Hebrew, Arabic, Chinese and Russian): Maintain humanity under 500,000,000 in perpetual balance with nature. Guide reproduction wisely — improving fitness and diversity. Unite humanity with a living new language. Rule passion — faith — tradition — and all things with tempered reason Protect people and nations with fair laws and just courts. Let all nations rule internally resolving external disputes in a world court. Avoid petty laws and useless officials. Balance personal rights with social duties. Prize truth — beauty — love — seeking harmony with the infinite. Be not a cancer on the earth — Leave room for nature — Leave room for nature. The center column featured a hole drilled at an angle from one side to the other, through which the North Star could be seen. The same pillar had a slot carved through it which was aligned with the Sun's solstices and equinoxes. An aperture in the capstone allowed a ray of sun to pass through at noon each day, shining a beam on the center stone indicating the day of the year. The monument doesn't exist anymore, as last year, someone blew part of it up with an explosive device, and then the rest was also demolished. There were previous attacks with paint etc, as some people apparently believed that it's a demonic Satanist plot or the 10 Commandments of Antichrist.

39 mass shootings in just 24 days. Wow.

They have been taken over a new entity and also appointed a new CEO, so wanting a fresh start is probably not surprising, especially given all the issues that plagued them in recent years... So I suppose relaunching the magazine and starting with a #1 issue again is just a way to symbolically show that they are rebuilding completely (and to boost sales, of course). I hope they sort it out and do well. Always loved the magazine, it's an iconic brand, and it was sad to continuously read about all the cash flow issue and failed contractual obligations.

OMG, I just saw @Dr Boris Gobshite in the online list

For me it's about the texture, not the nutritional value. I'm fine with some frozen veggies (like peas, sweet corn, chopped carrots etc.), but some others are just vile. Green beans, Brussel sprouts, cauliflower, broccoli are usually just too soggy, mushy, and lose all the crunchiness

Only fresh, with the exception of peas, corn, and spinach, to some degree.
