Selling porn downloaded online? Not my style... I got the real original stuff straight from the producers in Germany
  2. This reminds me so much of the Monty Python Agatha Christie sketch
  3. You'll spoil the story for yourself
  4. This looks pretty good!
  5. Not my field of expertise, sorry!
  6. Imagine when some archeologist finds it several thousand years later
  7. I want to play Caveman2Cosmos Civ IV mod again, but the sheer scale of it scares me.
  8. Boston Dynamics, along with other 5 robotics companies (Agility Robotics, ANYbotics, Clearpath Robotics, Open Robotics and Unitree Robotics) are pledging not to support weaponisation of their products. https://www.axios.com/2022/10/06/boston-dynamics-pledges-weaponize-robots I guess that won't stop them from selling robots to military, police, security forces, and anyone else who will then be able to weaponise them themselves... Don't think they are going to turn those DOD contracts down.
  9. Also, I wish Thais and other SE Asians wouldn't be so eager to share gory images on social media. I really didn't need nor want to see uncensored photos of dead kids on my feed today.
  10. Yeah...should have just offed himself instead of killing innocent vulnerable kids. The police investigating the case are saying he was drugged out of his head, apparently. Some sources say he was supposed to face trial for drug use tomorrow.
  11. Yeah, takes a special kind of psycho to shoot kids... Apparently, he went back home after the shooting and killed his wife and child, too, and then killed himself. He was a former police officer, apparently, fired for involvement with drugs. The death toll is up to 36 now, 24 kids and 12 adults Many injured and in a critical condition.
  12. Yeah, it's a bit pathetic, I'm disgusted with myself. To put things into perspective though, I started watching at 5am on both occasions, and went to bed after 8am, so I think I deserve bonus points for that
  13. "Customer is always right" is a bad policy which caters to sociopaths and narcissists, and breeds entitled assholes. My former company's policy when I was working in customer service was basically this - if it's our mistake, we'll apologise and make it right. If it's your mistake but you're nice and polite, we'll do what we can to help you make it right, often at our expense. If it's your mistake and you're a rude and entitled cunt, good luck with it, you're not getting any help.
  14. I would have still binged it all in two nights
  15. Finished watching Thai Cave Rescue, a Netflix mini-series about the Tham Luang cave rescue of 12 kids and their football coach 4 years ago. Written completely from a Thai perspective, I thought it was a great watch and a good portrayal of the actual rescue mission with some fictional characters and some other liberties taken for the sake of dramatisation. Binged all 6 hour-long episodes in two nights...
  16. Pyrenean ibex is the first and the only known species to go extinct twice. Originally, they became extinct in 2000, and there were several cloning attempts to resurrect the species afterwards. In 2003, a living specimen was born through cloning, but died 7 minutes after birth due to a respiratory defect, making it the first species to go extinct, be brought back alive, and become extinct again. Such a majestic animal, too.
  17. To add to that, the dedicated F1 predictions/fantasy sites always made the results void if there were technical issues preventing people from predicting in time (even if others predicted early and weren't affected). So I guess he's pissed because he feels it was unfair.
  18. Personally, I don't get this kind of reasoning. It's strategic to make predictions as late as possible due to potential penalties etc. The rules allow for it as well, so it's not as if anyone is supposed to put placeholders early in the week. Nobody expected the forum to go down, especially for so long, there were no warnings, so it's surely a force majeure event, no? Granted, I don't know why he took it so seriously, either. Forum going down before he was able to make his predictions before the qualifying session.
  19. Yeah, you just left out the most important factor in the story
  20. Oh come on, he always predicted right before qualifying, and the forum went down on Friday night. Not his fault, is it.
  21. I wouldn't be surprised if it doesn't fly this year. If that happens though, the rocket will have to be destacked again, which will delay the launch even further. Those solid rocket boosters are not supposed to be stacked for so long; the certification is for a year, and I believe they have already extended it by getting a waiver. Structural integrity of the joints is going to be a worry.
