  1. You are having one of those trips. One day, this will all be pretty hilarious to look back on. (That is assuming the two blokes outside your apartment don't gang rape you first)
  2. Far from the warmth of Istanbul with Dan, or the hustle and bustle of Amsterdam with Chris, we're back from our weekend in the Peaks. No sign of any dodgy con artists on a scam or the strong smell of weed or red lights, just pure quiet and countryside. We are all on completely different breaks right now Very lucky with the weather. Cottage was just beaut. Can't beat chucking logs in the fire and smashing through the wine and gin as dark sets in. We were literally 5mins from a village called Bakewell, named after the tarts. What a jewell that place is if anyone likes that kind of thing.
  3. Going to the Peak District tomorrow for a long weekend with the missus. Got ourselves a proper lovely little idyllic Cottage near to a little quaint village. Lovely drop.

    Smoking

Not a smoker but there are times when you're near someone whose vaping and those liquids smell really nice. Especially if it's Cola, Strawberry or something like that. That is the only time I've been curious to puff but never bothered.

To be fair, once you've survived your first poonami, it can only go uphill from there.

She's lovely mate. You'd never know behind that cute exterior lays a pooing and spewing machine.

I don't think you'd need to bother digging your own grave mate, the missus will have ran you over and chopped you up into little pieces by then.

There's enough ad's at the top of this forum that could help you with that.
  10. I've not seen the film you are referring to but by all accounts, this version is better. To be perfectly honest, you don't need to like Lady Gaga to enjoy this film, you wouldn't even realise it was her given how well she comes across in her performance. But by all means judge for yourself.
  11. A Star Is Born 8.5/10 Very good. Slightly dubious before watching as I thought it would be just a platform to emphasise Gaga's vocals but actually, she can act. Infact, I'm not sure what I found more surprising. Lady Gaga's acting skills or Bradley Cooper's singing. Either way, the two combined really well. My only criticism really was that whilst two thirds of the film were great, the last part was a little drawn out and self-centred. They could have shortened this and it would have had no less effect. All in all, a solid effort on Cooper's directional debut and I felt he really captured both sides of the fame industry brilliantly.

    Boxing

Feel like Groves will always be remembered as a nearly man, mainly for the two Froch fight's above anything else. Don't get me wrong, talented fighter, great style, personality and generated a big boom in British boxing. Chuffed he smashed De Gale and Eubank Jr, but he never quite dominated at the top for me. Injuries played their part too. All feel's a little 'What could have been' with him.
  13. I've seen it too. Solid 8/10 for me as it was fairly humourous. Felt a bit like a light hearted version of Skins. They actually filmed loads of it in Wales believe it or not. But the way they portrayed it did feel like it was trying to cater for an American audience. The other thing I found puzzling was the constant reference's to the 80's, especially soundtrack wise and yet they all use mobile phones. Ok...

    Animals

Different strokes for different folks, Rats aren't for me. Still, I'd tolerate them over other choices. Can't believe some people choose to have Tarantula's as a pet. Hope they escape, that'll be a barrel of laughs.

I wouldn't mind so much but that's false advertising, she's far from a beauty. I'd rather have Serena Williams than Emmanuel Adebayor or Bafetimbi Gomis.

Whilst I'm sure Charmander and Rainbow are nice names, I think she should have called them John and Terry. Seems more apt.

46 years, well played. Can't figure out if you deserve a medal or she does, but as you support United, I'm going to go with your missus. Well done John's missus.

You think that's awkward, I was tagged into a closed Facebook group called Lamp Lovers. Pretty fit birds with next to nothing on and a lamp somewhere in the picture. Sounds great. Only problem is scrolling through facebook feeds, you literally never know when one of these pictures is gonna pop up amongst everything else, so when you are scrolling, you kinda go into 'slow mo' mode, enough to see the tip of the next post. Its like your own version of Russian Roulette. Not a barrel of laughs when the girlfriend is present mind. Or your Mum.
  19. Will be very interesting to see what happens in the next month or so from a Pochettino point of view. Given what he's had to endure this season with the stadium palava and not being able to strengthen the team (I'm certain he would have if he had the choice), seeing a promising season evaporate might just be enough to make him call it a day. There's only so many times you can put up with near misses, especially when you think they are competitive in all four competitions, 90 minutes away from a Wembley final, firmly in the Champions League slots etc. Got to have something to show for this season you'd think. I'd be nervous for sure with United and Real on the scout for potential new managers in the summer.
  20. No sympathy to be brutally honest. They have pushed their luck relying on Kane for so long that you felt this would happen at some point. Unfortunate that they lose Son at the exact same time, course it is, and in one of the busiest periods of the season when still in four competitions, but they knew he'd be absent at some point. It's a squad game and this is the main reason no one believed in a Spurs title challenge. Not enough squad depth. If Llorente isn't considered good enough to cover this period, you have to question why he's there in the first place and a more adequate player isn't.
  21. Sorry, I meant to say Night King. And i think you're right. Time travel could well play its part in it. Me and my missus went to Belfast towards the end of last year and we got to visit some GOT locations and speak to extras. Obviously we got no hints but the tour guide made a lot of sense with his reasoning for Bran being the night king.
  22. I appreciate that but there's more than one way to symbolise Bran's presense. More I think about it, more i'm convinced he is the three-eyed raven.
  23. Quick question. It looks like we could be signing Kiko Casilla from Real. All I know is he has been back up there for a long time. Are we potentially getting a good keeper here? Hard to know when a player never really plays. And he's 32 so it's not like we would be investing in potential.
  24. I think I disagree a little. Think it's highly relevant that Bran is missing actually. It's beginning to get very hard not to believe he is the Night King. If he is, it will be a cop out for me really.
