Never felt excited about the 'Champions Trophy' i don't see the point of having another ODI tournament when there is the world cup even if it is for the top eight teams, would rather see a Test championship between the top eight test sides.

scenes at Lords right now.

England 20-6 after FIVE overs. This is a One-Day International xD. Not a T20.

Not one England player in double-digits for runs.

Rabada is on 4-12.

At 20-5, SkyBet had England to score Under 120 runs @ 4/1. Not sure what it is now!

Bairstow and Willey provided much-needed resistance to the early embarrassing collapse. Debutant Toby Roland-Jones is also impressing, too. Hit a few fours and 1 six already after 20 balls.

Fuck with the proteas and this is what you get.

I don't think any England supporter will be too bothered with them bringing their 'A' game for a dead rubber. Especially with three key men missing.

I can see your lot struggling. Grass on the wicket and all.

We have better equipped batsmen.

On a side note, for a change our fast bowling is looking awesome.

@Champions trophy

Personally think one of us, Eng or Aus will walk away with the trophy.

slow but solid start from Bangladesh. 20 overs gone and approaching 100 with 2 wickets lost. Tamim is doing alright after a slow start. Wood took a good diving catch.

top stuff from Tamim. Moved swiftly on to 100 to get the first century of the tournament. Bangladesh have done well in focussing their attention on Ball and targeting him for boundaries and runs.

Quite a composed innings overall.

300 is pretty much a standard score in ODI's now. England are well capable of knocking them off but it does give Bangladesh runs to play with. Fair play to them, fully justifying their inclusion.

I still fancy us as we're pretty confident with the bat but if we give away wickets and go 15-3 or similar, this could be trouble...

Bangers here to play. They are starting to win some tests as well. Good on em. Just goes to show the ICC that if you back some of the smaller teams they will improve given time.

agreed. they've got some really good players and finally getting their chance to shine on a world stage in a major tournament.

meanwhile, how many more chances do you think Roy will get?

Out of nick, so out of form and tries one of the dumbest shots you can do in that circumstance. Trying too hard probably.

Yeah, it was a daft shot to attempt.

He should have just played his way in and built up his confidence for a while. I still think England will catch them - these two batting now are different gravy.

We'll miss Woakes in the rest of the tournament. Was fast becoming one of our indispensable players along with Stokes and Root. Great with ball and bat, it will be hard to replace him. Big call on who will step in now. It will probably be Willey you'd imagine.
