Big game for England tomorrow now. Win and that's the semi's guaranteed.

There is also the added incentive now that we could knock Australia out if we beat them Saturday.

Simple win. Dismissed New Zealand fairly easily and at least with that incentive there's no pressure to qualify.

We've got Sri Lanka tomorrow. Likewise if we win we're also through to the semis. Would prefer that and have less pressure to win against South Africa.

ADBV out for a duck. Not the tournament he or fans expected so far.

SA having trouble handling the spin. Could have also been another as Pakistan declined to a review an LBW that would have been out.

Wow. What a performance by Pakistan and collapse from SA. Miller and Duminy put up some resistance but they're now at a worrying 118-6. May not even get to 200...

Why does Azhar gets picked for the ODI squad and gets to open is beyond me.The only good thing about him is he remains at the crease for a while which is rare among our openers

Terrible shot from Fakhar to get out there. Could have left that as he looked like he was going to do, then shaded his bat towards it. Poor as he was hitting some fine boundaries against Parnell.

Absolutely not surprised with Pakistan. On their day, they can beat the best. It's raining now and they are 19 runs ahead of par. If we lose tomorrow (the fucking rain can make anything possible), then this group opens up like anything. Can't (and don't want to) see it happening.

But well played Pakistan. Win against Sri Lanka and you might go through. The only thing that can hurt them is the run rate.

Pakistan win by 19 runs via D/L method. Quick start paid off. Despite going 22 balls without a run, they paced it up and got the required runs.

3 teams on 2 points currently. We win tomorrow against Sri Lanka and we're through.

Then it's up to the rest of the group to decide their fate!

Sri Lanka were looking decent before those two silly run outs. Up to then, they looked to be managing the run chase really well.

102 more to win from 83 balls as I type. Doable...but I think India might just eek it out with a couple more vital wickets.

well done Sri Lanka. Batted well and paced the innings out as I'd expect India to do in that situation.

We lost the game in the middle overs of our innings. Lost Kohli for a duck which was terrible and runs slowed right down after an extremely strong start by Sharma and Dhawan again.

Our bowlers were shit xD. At times, excellent fielding with the 2 run-outs. Other times, very poor.

It's basically a quarter final in our group now - all teams on 2 points. We play South Africa on Sunday. Pakistan play Sri Lanka on Monday. Winners go through.

We were complacent while fielding. There was a lack of intensity. But Sri Lanka deserved it. Makes the weekend's match interesting.

On a side note, Bumrah's poor form is baffling. Why isn't he bowling Yorkers? Also I can see Ashwin coming in for Jadhav, in the next match, as SA struggle against spin.

I think you overestimate how much SA struggle against spin. Duminy, Faf and AB are all fine against a slow bowler. Miller don't give no fucks either, but I won't call a slugger like him a good batsman.
