Very hard working, great challenged and unbeatable in the air. Also not afraid to go forward every now and then. The goal he scored was funny in how it happened though. It was a corner for us, and our keeper Florian Kastenmeier came up, even though it was only the 82nd minute. Fürth were so confused by that their marking was completely off.
Subscriber Coma+ Posted January 25, 2021 Subscriber Posted January 25, 2021 So is now around the time that Hamburg start to lose it? Big match tomorrow.

Moderator Tommy Posted January 26, 2021 Moderator Posted January 26, 2021 Considering we lost Edgar Prib and Felix Klaus shortly before kick-off with a stomach-bug, and HSV was the better team all in all, I can live with that point. We still had a big chance in extra time which could have brought us the win. But oh well. On to the next one.

Moderator Tommy Posted February 7, 2021 Moderator Posted February 7, 2021 Good news, everyone. Fortuna Düsseldorf vs. Holstein Kiel can take place tomorrow, because the operators of our arena closed the roof before the blizzard hit.

Rucksackfranzose Posted February 14, 2021 Posted February 14, 2021 Can see Hamburg bottle it again. Their lead over Bochum and Kiel point wise is completely depleted, although they're still leading on goal difference. And they're only 3 points clear of Fürth anymore. Can see them lose the top spot after their match at St. Pauli in two weeks time.

Moderator Tommy Posted February 18, 2021 Moderator Posted February 18, 2021 HSV is funny. Marcell Jansen and the rest of the board just randomly stepped down. It's like, "well, we're first in the league, and there hasn't been some drama in a while, what could we possibly do about that?".
Rucksackfranzose Posted February 21, 2021 Posted February 21, 2021 2.Liga promotion fight promises to become very intriguing: HSV are 1-3 down versus Würzburg with about 5 minutes still to play, Bochum lost yesterday and Fürth and Kiel face eachother tomorrow. If Fürth win there are 4 teams with 42 points at the top, plus Karlsruhe and Düsseldorf lurking with 6 points short. If Düsseldorf can hold on their lead, they're still in the competition for promotion @Tommy.
Moderator Tommy Posted February 21, 2021 Moderator Posted February 21, 2021 What a game. Conceeded the 1:1 because of a terrible mistake by Kastenmeier, and Hartherz got sent off shortly before the first half ended. Went into 2nd half with one man down and managed to win. Amazing. So proud of this team today.
Subscriber Coma+ Posted February 22, 2021 Subscriber Posted February 22, 2021 HSV Presumably they are a big money squad? Wouldn't mind seeing Kiel come up after the season they've had.

They also have a longstanding tradition of burning money like it came out of fashion tomorrow, though.

Can see HSV failing again.
nudge Posted March 1, 2021 Author Posted March 1, 2021 St. Pauli vs HSV coming up in less than a half hour... I'm very tempted to watch, but if I do, then HSV will surely win I think I will have to make sacrifices for the greater good here.

I'm watching it as I don't usually get to watch much of this division. I hear this is quite a big game

Rucksackfranzose Posted March 1, 2021 Posted March 1, 2021 @Stan, can't watch it since I'm busy. Please do a Michael: a ticker it is.
