Neither of us are in the best of form. We should still implement the 3 at the back and try and control the game as much as we can.

Mendy

Azpilicueta---Silva---Rudiger

CHO-----------------------------------------------Chilwell

Jorginho-----Kovacic

Mount------Werner

Giroud

If this was Lampard, it's guaranteed Atletico win.

Tuchel seems to have sorted out the defensive side of things though for Chelsea, so maybe it'll be tougher for Atletico to break them down, but not impossible.

Probably a 1-0 win but with Tuchel, I think Chelsea could still take something back to Stamford Bridge, even if it is a narrow defeat.

Atletico just had their rare loss for the league this past weekend, so if there's ever a good time to face them where confidence might not be as high, it's probably now.

They're going through a very important stage of the season as well with a tough couple of fixtures in Villarreal away next and Real Madrid at home. Real have already closed the gap to 6 points so this next month is definitely season defining with two games against Chelsea to add to this.

They'll be under tremendous pressure to perform this month. We'll see if they're champions material.

  • The title was changed to Atletico Madrid vs Chelsea - Tuesday 23rd February, 2021 (1st Leg)

When Suarez put that across the box, Mandy could have palmed it away  but instead pulled his hands back. Why the fuck is that? Left the other side of his goal wide open and if Lemar had got on the end of it he would have looked a right clown.

Joe Cole doing his best to get to the ultra-melt levels of punditry, joining the likes of McManaman, Owen, Jenas...

Cole will have you think Chelsea have won every single trophy under the sun with the best ever squad every year for the last 10 years.

‘I dont think there is any advantage to a home venue at a neutral ground’ genius commentary, it should be illegal for ex-players to be pundits
