ScoRoss Posted March 3, 2021 Posted March 3, 2021 Amongst the players they are in the process of 'recruiting' are: Ivan Toney Mason Holgate Andre Gray Demarai Gray Max Aarons Liam Moore Kemar Roofe Nathan Redmond Isaac Hayden Following on from their pursuit of Michael Antonio
Administrator Stan Posted March 3, 2021 Administrator Posted March 3, 2021 World Cup Winners 2030 here they come (if Demarai Gray doesn't play).

I'm guessing he's probably had Leon Bailey in his ear the last few weeks. For the rest of them, would be nice to get an all expenses trip to some nice locations in an international break...

Danny Posted March 3, 2021 Posted March 3, 2021 Really no different to playing for Ireland or Wales in terms of talent with the names mentioned there

Canada and Costa Rica have good talent coming through but still lack enough depth to compete with a revitalized Jamaica.

I wasn't disrespecting them, it's a step above the current crop and would give Jamaica a good footing to get into future World Cups
Dave Posted March 17, 2021 Posted March 17, 2021 Guess West Ham fans will stop singing "You'll never play for England" to Zaha now.
Michael Posted March 18, 2021 Posted March 18, 2021 Jamaica did a similar thing for the 1998 World Cup, where they tried to recruit the English born Jamaican players. I am surprised that they haven't done this more often, given that the quality of Jamaican players in England is much higher than most of the homegrown Jamaican players. If they can convince most of those players on the list to play for Jamaica, they should be a serious threat in the CONCACAF region.
Danny Posted March 18, 2021 Posted March 18, 2021 Ethan Pinnock called up, massively deserved for him, one of the best centre backs in the Championship
Azeem Posted March 18, 2021 Posted March 18, 2021 Competitive Costa Rica and Caribbean sides Jamaica and Trinidad can make Concacaf much more interesting.
