I haven't really kept up with what's going on at Gladbach - all I know is that Rose announced he was gonna leave at end of the season and then they forgot how to win.

Was it the CL involvement which has affected their domestic season?

I was hoping we had a good run in. We don't. No Europe for us that's for sure. We have a knack for winning a bit in our last few rounds, but Bayern and Leipzig will go all out, as likely will Leverkusen and Dortmund.

Gladbach, Union and Wolfsberg also need to win

Mainz, Stuttgart and Augsburg are beatable.

I predict 10 points, 40 pt 11th place total.

Lars Stindl misses his penalty by shooting wide of the post. Will Gladbach regret that miss come the end of the match I wonder?

Vargas the sub who came on at half-time has scored with a header after he connected with Caligiuri's cross from a corner.

Augsburg 1-0 Gladbach

Wow, Gladbach are really finished.

To be fair they created a lot of chances, but they could only score the one goal. But their defence looked vulnerable and they paid for their overall performance.

Didn't watch the game, but meant it in general... 7 losses and 1 draw in last 10 matches; wouldn't be surprised if they miss out on Europe next season.

Yeah, their form hasn't been good at all recently. I think that they have a bit of a mountain to climb now, in terms of climbing up the table and finishing in a European position.

Augsburg had like 3 shots on goal, and every one of them went in. :4_joy: Stindl's penalty miss was awful. Gladbach really have to act now. That's like what? Six losses in a row?

Yep, Gladbach were wasteful in front of goal, despite creating many chances, while Augsburg were clinical with their chances. I think that Gladbach won't be playing European football next season. There are too many good sides ahead of them in the table, who will also be battling it out for a place in Europe for next season. Having said that, Gladbach should win their next league match, as Schalke are probably the weakest team in the Bundesliga right now.

Which brings me to this.

That's why he doesn't talk to us, to avoid any kind of contact that could raise suspision. Had to google that last word in order to spell it correct.
