Ayinger is class...

We have a great selection of Ayinger here. I'll probably hit the bier markt this weekend to refill. This was my last one.

Huh, interesting. Ayinger is actually Bavarian. Thought it was some American knockoff thing.  Never saw it in any store here.

Only authentic bier (and Radler) in this thread.

Don't know, whether it's available where you buy your beer. But if it is give Kloster Scheyern a try. You can thank me later.

I'll take a photo of the selection next time I'm there.  I remember seeing a bier from Stuttgart that I wanted to try.

Added to my list, too.

Interestingly they called themselves Pécheur, when I was in my teens. They renamed to Fischer around the same time, when former Mutzig became Mützig again.xD

If I remember correctly it's not fantastic yet drinkable( better than many other beers.)

Going back to their roots xDApparently the brewery belongs to Heineken now :(

Yeah, it's nothing to write home about, but definitely drinkable. Had worse beers for sure 😅

Anyone have a nice collection of steins or is that just an American obsession with German culture?

There are many collectors in Germany. I think my grandpa had a few too. It's mostly older people who collect then.

My wife pointed this out to me. I'm wondering what I've just put my body now...

Stick with Vodka, it's more pure.

I feel like basically the whole thread is about knockoffs

I was very surprised to see Rothaus today so I grabbed that. They did have Kloster so I bought some of those as well.

Have you tried Schlenkerla Rauchbier yet?

Also, Palm brings back some great memories...

I haven't tried any of the Schenkerla. Honestly, I couldn't read the label so it was a bit intimidating 😆

I've never heard of both of them. 😬

My haul today was Weihenstephan Korbinia, Augustiner Maximator, the Rothaus, and 3 different beers from Kloster.
