I do think they work well together, but a lot of that is down to how superior Lewis is. If someone like George replaced Bottas, then Lewis would have a much tougher time. Red Bull might have an advantage here as a balanced setup is working for them whereas Mercedes experimented with higher and lower downforce and have found the lower setup optimal. This isn't going to help them if it rains though. Hamilton and Bottas both gave the impression when interviewed that they weren't really expecting rain so I guess we'll wait and see.
