Wilson out. So either Wood or we go straight in with Isak. Knowing Howe it will be Wood with Isak on the bench.

not sure Isak was registered in time to play.   We will need more magic from Maxi, it will make Wood's job a lot easier

Lovely goal from Wolves, deserved lead. They are playing some highly technical football bouncing the ball from midfield to the wing, back to the other wing, Man City level of control in those moments.

our record at them is bad,  it was going to be tough but losing Wilson and Bruno doesn't help,  it also highlights why Almiron, Willock and Longstaff are only good enough to come off the bench.

The problem here again is the final decision. Same problem against Forest and Brighton.

We have the possession, we even have 9 shots away from home in the first half yet  we don't really look like we will score.

I also look forward to when we can have Dan Burn at centre half again.

Good heart,  we don't deserve to lose on stats,  and being without Wilson, Isak and Bruno we have had to scrape the barrel when it comes to players.   I will take a draw all things considered,  then we go to Liverpool which not much expectation there.

Frustrating game with a good ending.

End of the day the front 6 lacked quality but it is the same players as 2 years ago, except downgrading Wilson massively to Wood. So to go there, have 64% possession and have 21 shots is still progress. Would Bruno and Wilson have been enough to win this one? I don't know because Wolves are very resolute defensively, and we are missing something in attack this season even with them. So is Isak the answer?

First defeat of the season coming on Wednesday then we need to bounce straight back at home to Palace.

Bad execution again.   Bruno would have made a big difference controlling the game from the midfield while Longstaff struggled making 5 yard passes.
