Tar-Mairon Posted September 19, 2022 Posted September 19, 2022 https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/62950377 Didn't see a thread so thought I'd make one. Good appointment?
N U F C Posted September 19, 2022 Posted September 19, 2022 Not that familiar with him but he seems to have soon good reviews and plays a similar style to Potter so it’ll be interesting to see how it works out.
Dave Posted September 19, 2022 Posted September 19, 2022 I didn't realise Chelsea had taken all of Brighton's key coaching staff.
Lucas Posted September 19, 2022 Posted September 19, 2022 Never heard of him, got to be honest. Would be excellent though if he was shit and they flopped.
Chickasaw Posted September 20, 2022 Posted September 20, 2022 Doesn't stay very long at his clubs does he? Anyone looked at his management history?

Most managers don't stick around very long at clubs though. I don't see what's wrong with his track record though - he overachieved with one of Serie A's smallest clubs two years in a row. Went to Ukraine because Shakhtar paid him a lot and only left after Russia invaded Ukraine (which tbh, I think if you're a non-Ukrainian living in Ukraine... that's the right decision). Brighton will certainly be hoping he can keep overachieving like he did in Italy.
Administrator Stan Posted May 24, 2023 Administrator Posted May 24, 2023 Taken them into the Europa League. Good luck to them. They seem like they have a decent set up to compete fairly well, too.
Subscriber JoshBRFC+ Posted May 24, 2023 Subscriber Posted May 24, 2023 Playing good football and look an improved side side Potter left. Got to admire how Brighton have been ran the last few years.
