Ake has been great this season tbh, Dias was a little off form last season and now we have 5 decent CB's i don't think Pep knows who his best pair are, they have all played well so far  ..or maybe Pep's trying to get a response out of Dias

Ake is not playing, Laporte is in instead, but the other 3 in them positions as predicted ...as for the question, maybe

Brentford did so well up until they scored, need to come out second half with that same intensity. Said it once and will say it again; if you sit back and try to defend you will be beaten by this side. Have a fucking go at them, they don’t like pressure.

Brentford can't keep playing like that in the second half or they floodgates will open,  they keep giving up possession and City had  a ton of shots on goal.
