Honey Honey 3,767
VAR official has been stood down. UEFA effectively accepting wrong decision. But surely the best referee they've got not knowing the rules either is massive alarm bells.

Ridiculous rule created by people who've never played football even in the park but these handballs have been given all season, 19 hours ago, Devil said: This VAR rubbish is getting out of hand, that was never a penalty. Do they honestly expect players arms to stay glued to their sided. Handball is intentional, that movement was never intentional. 19 hours ago, RandoEFC said: Yeah that's not a penalty and there has to come a point where you don't even care if the rules say it is. I was also under the impression that if it comes off another body part then hits the arm then you're all good. What I don't like about the rule is that any opposing player attacking can just kick the ball up toward a defender at close range and there is a fairly decent chance it might hit his arm or hand and he won't be able to do anything about it and a penalty will be given.. It will take over as the new diving in the box if they don't change the rule soon..
Whiskey 1,192
Given the appalling human rights record that Newcastle's owners have, always good to see a decision like that go against them.

The state of modern football is hurt by bad referees. But it's hurt much more by these sportswashing oil clubs that played the match. Oh no a decision went against Saudi Arabia's propaganda project and Qatar's propaganda project benefitted!! Oh well.
