carefreeluke Posted April 1, 2018 Posted April 1, 2018 Reoccurring theme under Conte is to see players become injured during a patch of bad form, for me there's probably more to it than just an 'injury'. Every case is different and there's probably truth of an injury behind all of them but I'm starting to notice a pattern. Courtois (just now), Bakayoko, Christensen, Luiz*, Willian (if I remember correctly), Morata and even Barkley. These just some of the top of my head. All had a bad game or run of form and suddenly became injured. Whilst it's probably a genuine injury in every case, I can't help but think their period out was partly down to or prolonged for protection, confidence and man management reasons on Conte's part. Just a theory. Anyway, I just can't quite fully believe Morata (who looked completely shagged for confidence) was out for that long with solely a 'back' problem. *Luiz more fell out of favour with Conte more than anything and has that nasty knee problem to deal with.
Administrator Stan Posted April 1, 2018 Author Administrator Posted April 1, 2018 Moses is like a fish out of water, even in this Chelsea side.

Administrator Stan Posted April 1, 2018 Author Administrator Posted April 1, 2018 Alvaro Morata!! Lloris makes a hash of a cross as he comes out but doesn't collect. Morata nods in from Moses' cross.

Guest Posted April 1, 2018 Posted April 1, 2018 Lloris looked badly positioned to me, that was a good cross though.

Administrator Stan Posted April 1, 2018 Author Administrator Posted April 1, 2018 that's a fucking strike and a half from Eriksen.
True Blue Posted April 1, 2018 Posted April 1, 2018 Fuck off, done nothing all half and get the goal.
Cicero Posted April 1, 2018 Posted April 1, 2018 Shame. Can't deny that strike though. Was given so much space and the chance only fell to him due to an absolute criminal lazy pass from Moses. Going to rue the numerous of chances wasted. Kane coming on with a winner nailed on. It would perfectly sum up our season. Not good enough.
Administrator Stan Posted April 1, 2018 Author Administrator Posted April 1, 2018 gotta give credit to Alli as well for chasing to keep the ball in and leading to Moses picking it up and gifting it to Spurs.
Subscriber Dan+ Posted April 1, 2018 Subscriber Posted April 1, 2018 Goal of the season contender. That's incredible technique.
carefreeluke Posted April 1, 2018 Posted April 1, 2018 Kante has been class, think we’ve been quite good overall. The problem is that Tottenham can only improve.

BounceAroundTheGround Posted April 1, 2018 Posted April 1, 2018 Moses has to hit that into orbit. Decent goal. Eriksen was doing the right thing in shooting on sight.
