Mpache
Marcos Paulo is off to Lille for 15M. And they say nationality discrimination doesn't exist in football. I've seen this bloke, and he's below average at best. Yet someone who ripped their league to shreds (Quevedo or Oslimg Mora) can't move away from Peru or go to a club like Goias or Atlas at best. Marcos Paulo is only going because he's Brazilian. Simple.
Spike
@El Profesor What is held to a higher importance to the average Brazilian fan? The state championships or the Serie A? Or are the state championships only important to the Paulistas?

But nowadays, most fans really don't care. The level is terrible. State championships only survive because they are the main source of revenue of states federations and in order to get elected, the CBF president need their votes. But they are relic of the past, a source of deficit for the clubs and they also squeeze the whole schedule, with Campeonato Brasileiro starting only in April and ending in early December. After Campeonato Brasileiro, it's the most important national competition. Differently from Europe though, the winner automatically qualify for next season's Copa Libertadores, which is the equivalent of Champions League. They drew 0-0 with Botafogo and went through to the final. Thought Botafogo were the better side though tbh.

Mpache
That was a very nice team goal from Flamengo. Fluminense up against it now I think. The away goal for Flamengo was the last thing they needed.

Mpache
Rafinha has such a bad stylist. He looks like a disco artist from the 1970's with that hair and shorts always up high. He's apparently also not a very nice person either so I hear.
Mpache
Evanilsson scores a very nice tap in. Timed his run perfectly and now it's 1-1.
Mpache
Wow. Gabriel Barbosa humiliates his marker and passes into open space for Flamengo's 2nd. I didn't see who he beat, but RIP his ankles.

He could have a lot more goals if he was this mature a few years younger and had better finishing. For his age, 25 in 50 games is a superb total.
