Administrator Stan Posted April 3, 2020 Administrator Posted April 3, 2020 Khyber pass sounds too obvious. I'll go for D
Azeem Posted June 9, 2020 Posted June 9, 2020 Which are the three most played matches at the FIFA World Cup ? A. Argentin vs Germany/ France vs Italy / Argentina vs Netherlands B. Brazil vs Italy / Argentina vs England / Germany vs Italy C. France vs Italy / Brazil vs Sweden / Belgium vs Russia D. Brazil vs Sweden / Germany Vs Argentina / Serbia vs Germany
Administrator Stan Posted June 9, 2020 Administrator Posted June 9, 2020 I'd go for B. I don't think it's be D as Serbia has only been an independent country relatively recently. And I don't think it's A as I remember watching Argentina vs Netherlands 1998 highlights recently and the commentator said they'd met only twice before at a world Cup. Brazil vs Italy must be one of the highest meetings in numbers.

Argentina vs the Netherlands happens a lot too. If they only met twice before 1998, then they've played at least 4 times as 1998 would have been the third and then 2014 they met in semi's.

Azeem Posted June 9, 2020 Posted June 9, 2020 It's D Brazil vs Sweden happened 7 times till 1994 then Germany vs Serbia equalised it in 2010 as officially West Germany vs Yugoslavia in the past counts in the modern record of Germany and Serbia. Germany vs Argentina in the 2014 final was their 7th meeting as well.

I assumed it was a skunk because of the stripes but the ears resembled a bear. So I was unsure. The answer is fairly obvious if you actually remember badgers at all.
