Kristho's Schland! - Off Topic

Recommended Posts

I interviewed the guy in HK in 1959 for a radio programme and the one I remember most at that time sums up our relationship here - BVB - Bayern - 04 - Dusseldorf - Duisburg - Koln - all together - occasionally - "When somebody loves you, it's no good unless he/she loves you - All The Time...."

I was at the Rosenmontagszug today (with the girl I've been telling you guys about 3 months ago), and it was really nice actually. Saw Die Toten Hosen live, a few Fortuna players. Karneval might not be so bad after all.

Karneval, Tote Hosen AND Fortuna. Sounds like a nightmare to me :P

But of course I'm happy for you that things with that girl seem to go well.

Wait, what? You don't like die Toten Hosen?

Well, hard to tell how things are going.

In the 90's to have called TH a schlager band would have resulted in at least 10 little huntsmen invading your house - if not 20 (ten on each side of the 45)

At one time Andy Beck wanted to be the fourth Andreas but as they determined they were Punk he stayed at the back and defended the other three Andreases.  Please do not assume that just because we seem to be totally English we do not know or appreciate the finer parts of German culture!  Great to hear they are still active!

IMO the stuff they are doing now comes very close to Schlager.

It is definitely nothing more than 0815 pop music.

I liked Die Toten Hosen when they we're still doing Punk. Nowadays I can't respect them anymore. Even saw them doing playback on a TV show.
